Question: When the Jamaican bobsled team returned to the next Olympics, did they have the same members as before?
Chosen answer: Yes.
Question: Can anyone translate what Axel Torvalds and his lawyer say to each other in their conversation after Agent Roberts is decoyed away by the fake phone call? The film doesn't provide subtitles because it isn't essential to the plot, but I'm still curious.
Chosen answer: Scene 1: T: Funktioniert alles noch? (Everything all right?) L: Es geht (more or less). Scene 2: L: Sagen Sie nichts mehr (Don't say anything). T: Ja. L: Ich kriege Sie hier raus und zurueck nach Europa (I will get you out of here and back to Europe). T: Sie wissen, dass die beiden Affen noch hinter dem Spiegel sind (You know that these two monkeys are behind this mirror). Scene 3: L: Das macht die Lage auch nicht besser (That doesn't improve the situation). The Lawyer speaks German as a foreign language, Thovald's German is perfect.
Question: Why is it too nutty that Orpheus arranged the flowers?
Answer: Orpheus was the greatest poet and musician of Greek mythology, his music could charm wild beasts and even persuade rocks and trees into movement; the idea of him arranging flowers is probably just a pun on his normal pasttime of 'arranging' music, or alternatively a reference to how he could have used his magical music to make the flowers spontaneously arrange themselves.
Question: Who does the voiceover for the trailer? He says: "Tom Cruise" and then "The last samurai".
Chosen answer: I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may have been Jim Cummings. He does a lot of voiceovers for movie trailers, cartoon characters, songs and the like. He's the voice of Cat in CatDog, Winnie the Pooh, Tasmanian Devil and has had small roles in films like Shrek, Sinbad and Antz. Question: What tune does Ike play or start to play on the harmonica in the attic? It sounds somewhat familiar to me, but I have no idea what it is.
Answer: It's a standard blues riff, used in many different songs.
Question: What exactly is a Ghost, and in the last line of the movie, what has occurred? Have the two merged into one and become a new entity?
Chosen answer: The Ghost is your spirit. In the end yes, they both merge,making a new entity, not just a human/cyborg and an AI, but a complete new entity - the whole is more than the sum of the parts.
Question: What is the song playing when Kevin Bacon is driving his car?
Answer: The name of song is "Power Struggle" by Sunna.
Question: Sometime during the film the show the passing of several years by showing images of what happened during these years. I think it is at the time of the Vietnam War. A song is played in the background. Does anybody know what the name of that song is and whom by?
Answer: Its "Imagine" by John Lennon.
Question: Can someone please explain to me the whole intern class of 2003 thing, and the fact that it said Elle's law school class was the class of 2004?
Answer: Elle was in the Law School class of 2003 which graduated in Spring 2003. She became an intern in Fall 2003 thus 2003 Intern. At the end of the first movie, she is signing up new students for the Blonde Legal Defense Club under a sign that says "Welcome Class of 2004", but this is at the beginning of her second year - the new students are 2004, she is 2003.
None of that happened in any of the movies. I'm confused. Elle graduated the class of 2004 in the first movie, but the second movie takes place in 2003.
Question: What is a "hook?"
Answer: A part of a song which grabs the listeners attention.
Question: What does the Russian say when the Americans are going to board the Red October?
Answer: He asks him if he likes bologna sandwiches.
Question: Please tell me if this true: out of all six, is it only Joey and Monica who have not kissed each other?
Answer: No, Phoebe and Monica have not kissed each other either. Ross and Monica kissed in college (we find out in series 10) - she was asleep on a bed and Ross thought it was Rachel covered by coats. Ross and Chandler may have kissed - in "The One Where Chandler Doesn't Remember Which Sister", it's implied he drunkenly kissed Monica, Rachel, and Ross, but Ross may just be joking.
Actually phoebe and Monica did for a brief moment in the London episodes. At the beginning the leave the apartment and for some reason all the girls kiss on the lips.
Question: What is the significance of the very last shot? We see see Jen (Zhang Ziyi) flying into the clouds and then a mountain/forest shot, in which nothing happens, for about a second and then the credits roll.
Answer: It is an open question. Interpretation of the last scene is really left to the audience. But to those of you who completely missed the whole point of the jump, it refers to the "Legend of the Mountain" as told to Jen by Lo "Dark Cloud". He told her that if a person makes a wish and jumps from the mountain, the wish will be granted and, occasionally, the jumper's life will be spared. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is actually a fourth book in the series of five books. In the book, Jen survives the fall, but never returns to Lo, fearing her parents shame and prosecution. Popular opinion seems to be that Jen was in fact in love with Li Mu Bai and the jump was an attempt of escaping the live lover towards the dead one.
Question: At the scene where Bartlett is running away from the pursuing Germans in the town, a car stops him. Bartlett says something in a foreign language to the German who steps out the car which makes the Germans drive away. Could someone please tell me what is said in the Bartlett/German conversation and what language does Bartlett speak in.
Answer: It's German, although I can't quite make it all out. The Germans tell him to stop (sounds like one says "hey you" in English). He asks what this is all about and, in English, the soldier accuses him of being English. Bartlett acts offended at the idea, and at being threatened with a pistol. The soldier then asks if he's German, he says something in the affirmative, and the soldiers apologize as they climb back in the car.
It sounds like the last line from the German Officer is" Free to Go" in English.
Answer: I am German and just watched the movie. From memory the conversation went something like this: German guard talks in English and Bartlett responded in German "English? What are you thinking?" German guard: "Oh so you're German?" Bartlett: "Yes why! Of course I am German. What is the meaning of this? Threatening me with this pistol?" German guard: "Well all right then." And they leave him alone. Although his accent would have given him away, it's a lot less strong than most English people's German, but still noticeable.
Question: During one scene in the Mirthmobile, Wayne pulls up alongside another driver, winds down the window and says "Pardon me, do you have any gray poopah?" and then begins to laugh. What's he talking about?
Answer: There was a series of commercials for a mustard called Grey Poupon in the late 80s and early 90s. It usually involved someone driving up next to a limo in a cheaper car, rolling their window down and asking them "pardon me sir, do you have any Grey Poupon?". Then the richer man in the limo would say "certainly" and pass it to the guy in the other car. They were incredibly stupid commercials and wayne's world makes fun of them.
Question: How did Sy know that William and Maya had ordered room service in the first place?
Answer: It's an easy assumption to make. And who wouldn't open the door to room service?

Question: Why does Gary Oldman speak with a Russian accent when Lee Harvey Oswald was from New Orleans?
Answer: Lee Harvey Oswald was very sympathetic to the communist ideal, and lived in Russia for a while. He probably adopted the accent as an affectation towards that end.

Answer: There's never a "point" to including a weakspot, by definition they are a flaw in the design that is either unforeseen or unavoidable. Maybe they could not find a way round it when building the robot, or any solutions simply created other weakspots.
