Question: What is the song playing when Henry is trying to pick up Lucy on the road?
Answer: "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure. During this scene, they play the cover version from the lead singer of Alien Ant Farm.
Question: How exactly was Will resurrected? Did that take place when the ship was able to rise back to the surface? And was the Flying Dutchman still a cursed ship at the end even though Will was resurrected and Bootstrap was back to normal human form. It seemed like it to me because one second Will is on the beach with Elizabeth and the next the ship is already on the horizon.
Answer: Whoever stabs Davy Jones' heart becomes immortal themselves, but that person's heart has to be removed and placed in the Dead Man's Chest. Will does "die" before his heart is removed and placed in the chest. Sometime between then and when the "Dutchman" resurfaces, he is resurrected. It's not exactly a curse, Calypso assigned Davy Jones the task of ferrying souls to the next world. However, Jones abandoned his duty and that transformed him and his crew into monsters. When Jones dies, the crew's humanity is restored. Will is now the Flying Dutchman's captain, and he must assume this duty. He can spend one day on land before he leaves, and one day every 10 years after that.
Question: Was Christopher Bale's character a twin or a "clone" made by Telsa's machine? (Because Bale's keyword for his diary is "TESLA" and when Hugh Jackman's character actually goes to see Tesla, he states that he knows he made a similar machine for his competitor. Bale?)
Answer: They were twins. Tesla didn't make a matching machine for Borden - all he made for the twins was a machine that made some light and noise to enhance their trick. The Borden brothers sent Angier off to see Tesla on what they thought would be a wild goose chase, just to get him out of the way for a while - they would never actually give away the real secret to their trick. They never anticipated that Tesla could actually have built the machine in question.
Question: If nobody was home when Claire got unconcsious then who called the ambulance when Peyton was outside with Joey?
Answer: Claire had called 911 but she couldn't talk. I'm sure their city had enhanced 911 coverage so they knew where the call was coming from and sent paramedics.
Answer: Claire calls police to help with the dead woman in the green house, when she fails to answer the police shows up to investigate.
Question: Because Will was a good captain on the Flying Dutchman and honoured his destiny, was he allowed to return to land for good after the one decade, unlike Davey Jones, therefore freeing his father and crew? Also, could Elizabeth board the Dutchman whenever she wanted to see Will?
Answer: There is much confusion over this. According to some sources, the film writers claim that Will is freed and can return home after he honors his duty for ten years and if his true love (Elizabeth) remains faithful. It is unlikely that Elizabeth can board the Flying Dutchman during this time as it will be in the netherworld, a place she cannot go. (However it's always possible in a future Pirates film they have a brief reunion.) When Davy Jones abandoned his duty, he transformed into a monster and returned to the living world where he wrecked havoc.
Answer: He was cursed to sail the Flying Dutchman for all eternity, but to go on dry land for one day every ten years.
Question: Why is Jack the monkey no longer undead?
Answer: Monkey Jack is still cursed. Note when he was shot out of the cannon he was in flames and still survived unharmed.
Question: Since this is the end, I have to wonder what might happen to all the characters, mainly Will and Elizabeth. Will she wait for Will even though he is the captain of the Flying Dutchman now? Why couldn't she go with him?
Answer: There is rumour of a missing part of the storyline that if, when the captain of the Flying Dutchman returns to land after 10 years, if his lover is waiting for him, the curse is broken and he is no longer commited to captain the Flying Dutchman. Calypso was never there waiting for Davy Jones, (as stated in the movie) which is why Davy Jones remained on the Flying Dutchman all these years.
Answer: There was an after-credit scene showing Elizabeth waiting for Will, with their son, after the 10 years were up. Will then returns to the living world in the Dutchman. She couldn't go with him because she was not dead, and could not travel to the afterlife with the ship.
Question: Why are there so many Jack Sparrows in certain scenes? When Jack is in Davy Jones' locker he may have hallucinations all right, but later - for example when he is on the Flying Dutchman - it just seems a wanton trick so as to make Johnny Depp occupy the screen as much as possible.
Answer: It was the effects of staying in Davy Jones' Locker for so long. It caused him mental problems.
Question: How exactly did the dog escape from Pelagosto island?
Answer: It's unknown, although Captain Teague, Jack's father, makes a sly reference about "sea turtles," an obvious reference to Gibb's claim that Jack escaped the island he was marooned on by lashing two sea turtles together. Will uses this same "tall tale" to explain how he escaped from Davy Jones.

Question: How did Jack Sparrow know they had to sail upside down to return to our world?
Answer: He deciphered a clue on Sao Feng's navigational chart. He realized that "sundown" did not mean "sunset". Rather it meant that what was up had to be down to upturn back into the living world. They had to capsize the ship at sunset to return at sunrise amid the "green flash" that signals when a soul returns to earth.
Question: At the meeting of the pirate brethren, Jack and Barbossa both were counted as a Pirate Lord. But wasn't Barbossa really Jack's first mate that mutinied against him prior to the events of the first film?
Answer: Barbossa is the Lord of the Caspian Sea while Jack is Lord of the Caribbean. Just because he was first mate, it doesn't automatically follow that he couldn't become a Pirate Lord - Elizabeth was a prisoner aboard Sao Feng's ship before he passed the role onto her.
Question: Maybe I'm missing something, but why can't Elizabeth just live on Will's boat at the end? Someone suggested it was because she cannot go into Davy Jones' Locker, but she has been there and got out before so why not again? Also, Will's father isn't dead but he can travel with Will, so why couldn't Elizabeth just join his crew?
Answer: From the point of view of the Dutchman, Bootstrap is dead enough to serve on the ship. The idea is that Jones rescues people who would otherwise simply have drowned and makes them serve on his ship in lieu of death; as such, they can be considered technically deceased. Elizabeth has been into the Locker, yes, but with the demise of Jones, the Locker may not even exist any more. Will's task is to escort the dead into the afterlife, not the Locker - while Elizabeth survived the Locker, the afterlife may be something entirely different. The rules regarding the Dutchman and the duties of her crew are never spelled out, but it seems that, no, Elizabeth cannot live on her.
Question: With the little boy hanging in the beginning, did it have anything to do with the story line, or were they just showing how they would kill anyone that was associated with pirates?
Answer: Beckett needed the song to be sung to summon the Brethren Court, making it possible for him to destroy them. As a result, they simply started hanging anybody who had any links to pirates, until somebody started the song.
Question: Why did the lady Calipso blow up into crabs?
Answer: There's no definitive explanation, although Calypso seems to have a particular fondness for the crustaceans, as can be seen after she sends the crabs to retrieve the Black Pearl when they're in Davy Jones' Locker. She is seen affectionately holding one that has scurried back to her. When she's released from her human prison, her spirit disperses into crabs and returns to the sea.
Question: Did Tia Dalma bring back Barbossa from the dead for the same reason as Captain Jack - because he was a pirate lord?
Answer: While not explicitly spelled out in the film, it does seem quite likely that that was at least part of her motives.
Answer: It was also because he was in possession of one of the Piece of Eight required (or rather, knew where it was) for Tia Dalma to be released from her human form. Plus, she needed someone she had leverage over, to help her get the other Pirate Lords together so that all the Pieces of Eight could be gathered (and stolen by Barbossa). She needed Jack back because he took his Piece of Eight along with him to the Locker.
Question: I'm curious, when Beckett and his men first board The Dutchman, he says to Jones, 'This is no longer your world. The immaterial has become immaterial,' what's his meaning? Also straight after, we see a load of his men aiming their guns at Davy Jones' heart. What's that all about?
Answer: Beckett is saying that mythological beings like Jones, entities that he doesn't really consider to be part of the normal material world have become irrelevant, that they don't matter any more. Aiming the guns at the heart is purely a threat, telling Jones that if he doesn't do what they tell him to, they'll destroy the heart and him along with it.
Question: Did anyone hear exactly what Gibbs said at the brethren court meeting? He explains why they didn't use the pieces of eight like they intended, but instead used pieces of junk.
Answer: They didn't use pieces of eight because they were all broke and didn't have any pieces of eight to use. In the end, they simply used whatever they had available at the time.
Question: Since Davy Jones is dead and Will new captain of the Flying Dutchman, does The Locker cease to exist?
Answer: It is Will Turner's locker now.
