Continuity mistake: While performing the water glasses Gracie says, "He's definitely the shooter." The next close-up of gun man shows him standing to the left of yellow shirt man, right in front of the display easel, with a particular crowd around them. Gun man's next shot now shows him behind yellow shirt man and no display easel anywhere. His next shot, once again he's to the left of yellow shirt man, in front of the display easel and a man with a stetson and a dark blue denim shirt sits there. Next shot, the display easel and denim shirt man are gone. In the next side wide shots, the display easel is back. (00:53:55)

Continuity mistake: As soon as Aragorn walks into Theoden's tent, behind him stands a suit of armour. While speaking with Elrond about the Army of the Dead, there is a sudden gust of wind and the armour falls in the background in this one shot. Throughout the entire scene preceding and following this one shot, this armour is seen upright. (01:17:20)

Continuity mistake: At the airport, in the shot from inside the car, Vic, Matthews and Clonsky take their luggage out of the back. One button is closed on Vic's blazer, Matthews has the black duffel in his right hand and the suitcase in his left hand and Clonsky has the blue duffel in his left hand and two other pieces of luggage in his right hand. Yet in the next shot from outside the car, there are now two buttons closed on Vic's blazer, Matthews' luggage switched hands and Clonsky's blue duffel is now in his right hand with one of the pieces of luggage. Continuity mistake: As Gracie speeds towards Starbucks, we see an the aerial shot of the intersection. There is a large white truck at the corner and there are three yellow taxi cabs waiting at the red light. As the car spins into the U-turn, in these shots there is no white truck, but there is a service truck with a cherry picker at the corner. Then in the close-up of Gracie getting out of the car, there are no yellow cabs, instead there are one brown and two white cars waiting at the still unchanged red light. (00:10:05)

Continuity mistake: After Cheryl's fire batons performance she runs off stage and hugs Gracie. In the first shot while hugging, she's holding her batons in her left hand, and she puts her right hand up to her mouth. However, in the subsequent shot Cheryl's left hand is near her mouth, and she's holding her batons in her right hand. (01:27:40)

In the shots facing the monitors, the equipment near the small monitor sits higher than that monitor and there is no equipment on the TV. Continuity mistake: At the orientation breakfast as Cheryl says, "I got here three days early," we see a seated Miss Ohio stand up and go hug another contestant. Yet in the next shot, a view on the agents' monitor from Gracie's flag cam shows Miss Ohio staying seated while she hugs the other contestant. (00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: Gracie and Cheryl are at the doorway of the dining hall for the orientation breakfast, and Cheryl says, "Oh look, there's our table," and seen behind them are Miss New Mexico, Miss Utah and Miss Maryland who haven't entered the dining hall. Yet in the next shot showing the dining hall, those three contestants are standing by the podium at the other end of the room, as Gracie and Cheryl enter. (00:38:20)

Continuity mistake: At the orientation breakfast, Cheryl, Miss Rhode Island introduces Gracie to the other contestants including Miss California, and calls her Leslie Davis. Continuity mistake: During the 'One in a Million' opening performance of the pageant, while the contestants are dancing, in the shots behind the ladies the steadycam operator is seen at the front runway. Yet in the front shot, in between the back shots, the entire runway is seen, including the luminous edge bulbs, and the steadycam operator is not there. (01:22:35)

Continuity mistake: As Matthews and Gracie go at each other on the mat, they have each other pinned. He has her face between his crossed feet. In the close-up she says, "Alright let's just suspend reality for a second and pretend I said yes..." The laces on his sneakers/trainers are tied very differently in the close-up than in the previous and following wide shots. (00:21:15)

Continuity mistake: At her apartment, in the close-up Gracie turns on her stereo and we see the table, office chair, plus a cap with an insignia and two video tapes are lying on top of the TV. Continuity mistake: As young Gracie faces off with the bully, in the front shots her hair is all pulled back, yet in most side shots and also when she says, "Now get outta here," her hair is loose on the sides of her forehead. Her tee shirt collar also changes position within these shots. Also, the red folder and blue binder change position in these shots. (00:01:05)

Continuity mistake: After Gracie is given the title of Miss Congeniality, Miss Texas (with her broken nose) and some others go up to hug her. As Miss Texas is hugging Gracie up at the podium in the first shot, the very next shot is a close-up of Victor and Matthews in the 'audience', and seen right in front of them in the audience is Miss Texas. Continuity mistake: Victor and agent Matthews rush back stage at the pageant and are stopped by the Pageant Matron. There is a monitor next to Victor and it shows Miss Rhode Island twirling her batons without flames, and also as soon as Vic calls Matthews 'muffin', in the background we see Cheryl raising her flameless baton on stage in the background. Yet in the previous and following shots the batons have flames. (01:27:10)

Continuity mistake: While having pizza and beer at the club, Gracie says, "Don't worry about that, we all sucked." In every front shot, Gracie's hair is hanging down the sides of her face, but in the next five side shots, her hair's tucked behind her left ear. Then in the rest of the shots her hair is tucked behind her left hair in all shots. (01:09:10)

Continuity mistake: Gracie sings "You want to smooch me" to Matthews, and he takes a Milky Way candy bar and bites into it. There is a back shot of Matthews, then a front shot and then a back shot again. In the front shot the wrapper and the bite he takes differs from the previous and following back shots. (00:50:05)

Continuity mistake: At the talent preliminary held at the Alamo, while Stan says his intro there is a back shot of the audience in front of him with the judges station seen. After Stan shakes his hips a front shot of the audience is seen. The position of the judges' station is very different in both shots, as well as the audience. (00:51:35)

Continuity mistake: When Gracie is leaping off stage after yelling, "Gun! Gun! Everybody down!" there are two wide side shots of the leap. Those shots are one sequence that was split to put the close-up in the middle. In the 1st, her hand is already on the shoulder of the man in the yellow shirt. Then there's a close-up of Vic's, Kathy's, and Stan's reaction to the leap, but their eyes are still in the air facing towards the stage as we see Gracie flying past their faces. In the 2nd wide shot, she's back to where she was in the 1st shot. (00:54:15)
