Other mistake: There are spotty areas in the plot of the episode; in particular, it's never explained how can Elmo make an appearance at the newspaper office - but at the same time also be considered dead, and Higgins be at the hotel - and who would be riding his bronco leading others to believe he's around.
Other mistake: Elmo tells Magnum that the attempt to his life consisted of "three shots through the windshield before the truck turned over, caught fire." The opening scene had just one rifle shot, not three.(00:15:45)
Other mistake: Olivia Ross crushes in anger the paper cup she was drinking coffee from - and she does not wet her hand or stain her perfect white dress doing so.(00:23:25)
Other mistake: Magnum lights up a signal fire for TC. It is supposed then to raise significant smoke (which Rick spots) in a short time, but when we see the fire, it's not generating visible smoke. Moreover, Magnum uses fuel to light it up, but they are supposedly out of gas and had to paddle for a long while before getting to the island, so it's odd that they'd suddenly have spare fuel for that predicament the day after.(00:38:45)
Other mistake: Someone shoots in the dark at the trio in front of the sandal king's house. Former Navy Seal Magnum must have read the script and know that the assailant was only gonna shoot once, because he jumps up from his sitting position and just stands there looking pensive at the bushes like a complete fool, taking no cover, nor trying to protect his client while the wife is dead.(00:33:20)
Other mistake: Mrs. Greeley mentions the sandal king's wife putting the hooks on the quarterback "yesterday at the party." That would mean that every previous event - Magnum showing up to the first day of practice, going back to the estate where Higgins annoys him, being 'hired' to practise with the team - all happens in a day. TC actually mentions the practice "the other day" which contradicts it explicitly, but even without that, all of it is patently absurd - including TC showing up independently from him.(00:19:10 - 00:30:30)
Other mistake: One of the trivia questions asks "Which one of the following skills is not used by the Ikki brothers?", but it is wrong. The possible choices are 3 skills not used by Ikki or Shun, and the 4th is a skill from Shun, Ikki's brother.
Other mistake: Inevitably the officers have to concisely give to the quirky inspector a quick profile of the suspect. For their "background checks" they read from profile sheets. It is unclear if they wrote them themselves or not; sometimes especially in earlier seasons they seem to receive them. These sheets contain sentences often written in a rather informal tone that does not fit the format, and in fact often you can see that whatever the officer is saying in casual tone as if it were part of the dialogue is written verbatim on the sheet itself. Example; 6-8, when Florence says "He's big on family values and promoting education in the community", with her line already readable word for word on the sheet in Jack's hand in the previous shot.
Other mistake: During the climactic scene at the acting class, the students are shown in several panning shots. If you go back to the first scene at the same location, when the students were walking away at the end of the lesson you can notice that every extra a day after wears the exact same clothes as they were the day before.(00:22:00 - 00:43:00)
Other mistake: A big deal is made of Magnum wearing a suit, both by Higgins and by Magnum himself when he speaks to others. You'd expect then this to be the first time we see him donning such a formal, wear and head into a corporate meeting, but he wore in fact a suit for a long portion of screentime just two episodes prior, in Ghost Writer (2-11).
Other mistake: The technical documentation of the Seravee Gundam says that "Improvements to the GN Field's defensive capabilities provides it with better performance." Improvements provide, not provideS.
Other mistake: Magnum states his date of birth to the doctor; "August 8th, 1944." On his driver license in "Memories Are Forever" (when the General shows it to his wife) the date was January 5th 1946.(00:05:35 - 00:40:55)
Other mistake: Completing the quest "Have 50 Friends, send 3,000 hearts" gives you a perk that is called "Celebrity I" in the mission report, and "Well Known I" in the trophy showcase.
Other mistake: The name of Virgo's sidestory is "Ten Trillion worlds apart", as it shows in the quest list and in the in-game story, but in several other parts of the game it appears as simply "Trillion worlds apart"
Other mistake: The priest and altar boys have the slowest reflexes ever; they stand as if nothing happened during the whole shootout, and can be seen finally covering behind the altar only after a few cuts, after the shots have already stopped.(00:45:05)
Other mistake: The bicycle the killer uses is recognizable for its unique color pattern as the same prop used in the season 1 finale, when it was supposedly an expensive gift from Robin Masters, imported exclusively from Italy.(00:31:15)
Other mistake: The bad guy in the control room gets some overhead shots of the camera that point down significantly more than the rest, but in close-ups we never see the camera alter its tilt, merely the direction it spins in, clockwise or counter.
Other mistake: When the security guard is looking at Magnum trying to mess with the lock, the camera is on the ceiling, but the camera angle he gets on his monitor is as if the camera were level with him.(00:38:10)
