Shaft (1971)

Shaft mistake picture

Revealing mistake: During the credit sequence with the iconic Isaac Hayes theme, occasionally passersby look into the camera, but given the camera placement and the amount of people involved it's hard to label that as mistake. At one point tho, around the 2:50 mark, some tall dude walks into frame and waves a "black power fist" for the camera - he couldn't be greeting Shaft with the gesture because he does it when Richard Roundtree has already walked well past him. Shaft (1971)

Shaft mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During Bumpy's visit to Shaft's office, the crime boss is sometimes wearing his hat with the buckle on the left, other times with the buckle on the opposite side. (00:19:20 - 00:26:30)

Shaft (1971)

Shaft mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When the gangster with the plaid coat is strangling Shaft, the supposedly first-person shot shows him with his thumbs all the way up as if he were crushing his temples in a head vice - he is instead choking him, thumbs under the chin. (00:11:00)

Shaft (1971)

Shaft mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During the brawl in his office, Shaft sends the plaid coated man flying all over the table to the left of the window, right where there's a white paper bag. A moment later in the fight, that flimsy paper bag is still where it was, totally uncrushed by his butt. (00:10:40)

Shaft's Big Score! mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Mr. Kelly pimpslaps Rita as she is grabbing her things, and he walks away to answer the phone. Between shots, the mules on the table have rotated, and in similar fashion the suitcase is also now parallel to the side of the table instead of being at an angle. (00:34:30)

Shaft's Big Score! mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Shaft fights the bad guys disguised as flower delivery men, both die with their blood packs that explode triggered by visible pyrotechnics - kinda odd to shoot a guy and see literally flames burst out from his chest or back before any blood comes out. (00:48:50)

Shaft in Africa (1973)

Shaft in Africa mistake picture

Revealing mistake: Richard Roundtree is quite literally butt naked during his stick fight in the Emir's stable towards the beginning of the movie, except in one shot where the person in frame is wearing blue sweatpants. (00:12:50)

Shaft (2019)

Shaft mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Young Shaft is meeting his friend at the bar: he has just his solitary drink before him when Karim arrives, but the drinks are now 2 with Sasha's arrival - only for a single shot, though, as just a single glass is afterwards. (00:11:40)

Shazam! (2019)

Shazam! mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Billy finally finds his mom and talks to her in front of her apartment, the door behind her changes from (almost) fully closed to much more open, to an intermediate state, and fully closed again at the end. (01:25:30 - 01:28:00)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Avengers: Endgame mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the Hulk scene at the diner, once Scott takes the picture of the kids, in the frontal shots he is holding the phone with his right hand and hands it to them, while the reverse shots don't match - egregiously noticeable when he says "I don't want a picture with them" waving an empty right hand. Men in Black: International mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When agent H is being chased by the MIB agents through the market streets of Marrakesh, he runs past the same extra twice in two separate streets: a young guy with a goatee, wearing a brown robe with red collar and a backpack. (01:02:00)
