The Brady Bunch (1969)

Kitty Karry-All is Missing - S1-E7

Corrected entry: Bobby is accused of stealing Cindy's doll, but there's no way that Bobby could have done it. Bobby left the room after talking to Cindy (not knowing Cindy was about to leave the room too), then Cindy walks out of the room (leaving the doll behind) for only a few short seconds, then walks backs in and suddenly the doll is gone. Bobby walks back into the room and is immediately accused. Reviewing all this, Bobby wouldn't have enough time to walk into the room and take the doll without being seen by Cindy.

Correction: The audience might know that Bobby didn't do it, and we obviously find out it was Tiger. But that wasn't the point. In Cindy's mind, Bobby hated her doll and was the only one who could have taken it, and in her mind (she's only 7 or 8 years old remember), she was gone long enough for Bobby to take it.

Corrected entry: When in the bunker Natasha says all this computer stuff is from the seventies, yet there is a brand new up to date interface attached to it for them to insert the memory stick. When they entered the bunker no one had been there for years, as we saw by the amount of dust and cobwebs covering the secret entrance.

Correction: SPOILER ALERT: When Zola is talking to Captain America, he says he wrote an algorithm for Project Insight. HYDRA used Zola's algorithm and they would have been the one to bring and use the interface to load the data to the memory stick. They simply had no need to clean the place (even when Capt and Natasha enter, there's still plenty of dust and cobwebs).

Bishop73

Correction: Just because he's lactose intolerant doesn't mean he can't have dairy (as opposed to Howard's peanut allergy where he can't have any peanut product). In fact, in several episodes others have made fun of Leonard's flatulent as a result of him having dairy, evidence that he's had dairy products before.

Marie Antoinette (2006)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Marie is trying on shoes and eating all those desserts, she is seen giving her dog desserts. The desserts have chocolate in them, which would kill the dog.

Correction: While dark chocolate can be dangerous to dogs, the amount of chocolate needed per pound of body weight is significantly higher than what Marie feeds her dog. Usually, a dog who eats a lot of chocolate gets sick rather than dies.

Angel (1999)

Soulless - S4-E11

Corrected entry: Throughout the episode, we see Angelus show up on a security camera in the basement. But it is a well known fact that vampires do not show up on security cameras. It's been established several times in the show.

THGhost

Correction: It's been well established in the Angel series (same as the Buffy series) that vampires DO appear on cameras (and photographs) since cameras work similar to the way the human eye works. Electronic security systems don't pick up vampires, since they don't have body heat, but surveillance cameras are not the same as a security system.

Life of Pi (2012)

Corrected entry: In one part of the lifeboat scene, Richard Parker tries to attack Pi but slides down the tarp. Tiger claws are sharp enough to cut through a canvas tarp and even if Richard has no claws, his weight can tear the tarp.

Thumpback

Correction: Tigers (like all members of the cat family except Cheetahs) have retractable claws (which is why their tracks don't show claw marks unlike dogs) which is how he slide down without tearing anything, and there's no reason to think his weight would tear the tarp.

Peggy and the Pirates - S7-E18

Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, the ending credits say "Special Appearance: David Garrison as Steve Rhoades." David Garrison did not appear as Steve Rhoades in this episode, but as Rubio the Cruel.

Correction: There is no mistake. The pirate story uses Married With Children characters, rather than real life people being the characters. So Al Bundy was Captain Courage (as opposed to Ed O'Neill being Captain Courage), so Steve Rhoades was Rubio and David Garrison was Steve Rhoades.

The Running Man (1987)

Corrected entry: When Amber stumbles on the decayed, skeletal remains of a runner, she picks up a dogtag from the body and reads the name "Whitman." If the dead runners had name tags, where are her and Richards' tags?

Robert Cotton

Correction: This is a question and not a mistake. We don't have enough information about why they had dog tags. However, we do know several key factors. 1: These are the runners the public think made it and are living it up (so the dog tags could be related to that.) 2: Richards is a military prisoner and The Running Man game show doesn't have rights to use them, so special permission was made. 3: Amber was a late entrance because she was caught snooping around and wasn't a planned contestant (and it seems neither were Weiss and Laughlin).

The Running Man (1987)

Corrected entry: When Fireball first enters the arena and chases after Ben and the woman, the distance Fireball is from them changes from shot to shot.

Correction: All 3 are constantly moving, and there are several cut away shots to the audience. In the one shot change of them being chased, the camera angle changes dramatically, altering the perception of distance.

The Running Man (1987)

Corrected entry: When Sub-Zero pushes Weiss into the net, Weiss slides towards the camera. Just before hitting the camera, you can see the camera guy's hand sticking out to stop Weiss.

Correction: Weiss never slides towards the camera, the camera is always behind or to the side of him. And he never hits anything other than the net, and there's never someone else's hand seen.

Bishop73

There is a hand appearing to catch Weiss right before the shot cuts.

My Best Friend's Wedding - S3-E22

Corrected entry: Turk and Carla are married by the patient who is also a priest. It is just the three of them in the patient's room. For a wedding ceremony to be legal, at least two witnesses are needed to see the marriage. This is a marriage requirement in most states.

Kinetic14

Correction: California state law for public marriage licenses requires only 1 witness. California state law for confidential marriage licenses does not require any witnesses.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Ricky Gervais discovers he can lie, and is in the bar trying to explain this to the bartender and his friend, his beer is 3/4 full. By the end of the scene the beer is almost empty, and based on the speed of the conversation, he did not have time to drink the beer between shots of him. (00:23:20 - 00:24:35)

Correction: This is not a mistake, it's meant to show the passage of time. That's why at the end he's leaning on his hand and frustrated and his last lie becomes extremely exaggerated.

Superman II (1980)

Corrected entry: Superman takes the sewer lid off his tummy and faces the left side of the car. When the angle changes he's facing the back side of the car, 90° different to the position he was in the previous angle.

Correction: When he lands in the car on his back, you see him roll over (to his left) and get on his knees before the next shot, which is him on his knees facing the back of the car in the same position as the previous shot.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Corrected entry: At the start of the movie, Fix It Felix Jr is at the back of the arcade and facing the door. Sugar Rush is two or three machines down. However, at the the end of the movie, Fix It Felix Jr is facing Sugar Rush, they are opposite each other.

Correction: This is not correct. At the beginning, when the a Sugar Rush game is added (during the 30-year time lapse), it's next to the whack-a-mole game, and in front of Wreck-it-Ralph (as in closer to the door) and not a couple games over. It's set at an angle so that they're not facing each other, but still in the line of sight of each other, so that Ralph and Vanellope can still see each other.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: The sheriff gets a call at night in bed that makes him go to a store and look for his deputy, suspecting foul play and shows up completely dressed in uniform. If he suspected his deputy was in trouble, he wouldn't have taken the time to put on his uniform.

brantlee

Correction: He still would have to dress himself before leaving, and putting on the uniform would be the same as any other clothes.

Logan's Run (1976)

Corrected entry: When Doc says, "Pay attention Sandman, I'm proud of this machine" the Anodyne and Kinesis levers in the background are in the down position. The camera cuts to Logan and back to the Doc and the levers are now in the up position. (00:47:25)

Correction: Yes, the levers are in the down position to start, however, Doc is standing next to the levers and says the line "I'm proud of this machine" off camera (while the camera is on Logan). When it cuts back, the levers are up, but Doc is moving his hand away from the machine. He had plenty of time to raise them (plus the numbers change, indicating the levers were raised off camera).

Kickboxer (1989)

Corrected entry: When Tong Po wins the fight, he tears Eric's champion belt in half. When Kurt and Winston load him into the van, Kurt places the undamaged belt onto the stretcher next to Eric.

Correction: First off, Tong Po doesn't rip the belt in half, because the metal is in the middle. He ends up tearing part of the strap off and the metal plaque stays intact. When we see Kurt following the guys outside, we see the two pieces. When they load Eric into the van, Kurt puts the bigger, damaged, belt piece on top.

The Fly (1986)

Corrected entry: When Jeff Goldblum tries to fix the flaws in his telepods by transporting a steak through them, we see him place the steak on a white platter before placing it in one of the pods. When the steak gets transported it appears in the other pod on a dark blue coloured platter.

Correction: The plate stays the same, white with brown around the edge. When it's in the telepod, the blue lights reflect off the white plate to give it a bluish tint, that is all.

Sanctuary (2007)

Revelations, Part 1 - S1-E12

Corrected entry: Druitt (Jack the Ripper) states that he needs to have seen a place before he can teleport there, otherwise he might materialize inside a rock or wall. Yet he was able to teleport into the middle of some housing development, in the middle of Baton Rouge, to look for the invisible girl.

Correction: He can still teleport to places unseen, he's just saying doing so is dangerous (but not impossible). Throughout the series we see the characters do dangerous things out of necessity.

Summer of Sam (1999)

Corrected entry: In one scene there is a POW/MIA flag being flown on a building. This type of POW flag was not flown regularly during this time period. It was first flown on National POW/MIA Recognition Day in 1988.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: The POW/MIA flag flew over the White House in 1982, and was designed (and flown) from 1971. At first it was meant for small groups of people, so it's reasonable to say by 1977 someone in New York had a POW/MIA flag for personal reasons.
