Continuity mistake: The way Banshee's bangs are combed back vary a few times in a couple minutes (elevator fight scene). Sometimes, the left side is higher than the right side and other times the highest point is near the middle of her forehead. Continuity mistake: The mailbox is roughly parallel to Richard's SUV but is more perpendicular when he looks at the address number, then it is back to parallel. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: During the time Sean and Kunle are talking to Bianca after class, Sean is wearing two gold necklaces but only the longer one is showing a few times. (00:04:30 - 00:05:41)
Other mistake: The crate, which had gaps between the boards, was buried about 8-10' deep, but it was free of dirt when it was being hoisted out of the hole. (01:14:25)
Continuity mistake: Jail cells have a rectangular slot with an outward flat extension for setting down food trays. The guard checks cells after "lights out" and there are no flat extensions for trays. (00:23:50 - 00:24:35)
Continuity mistake: The handcuff around Ava's right wrist looks loose enough for her to free herself simply by pulling her hand through it. In a later shot, the handcuff is closed almost against her skin. (00:54:30 - 01:00:39)
Continuity mistake: Matt puts a large bag of dog food onto the checkout counter. After Julie takes his money and hands him a business card, there is only a brown paper bag (containing the smaller items he buys) but no dog food bag on the counter. Factual error: Twice during the movie, streetlights are visible: once when lady Russell informs Anne of Wentworth's engagements, and once while Anne is running after Wentworth. (Streetlights, lit by gas, were indeed conceived during the regency period - but they were experimental curiosities, and certainly not yet installed nationwide).
Continuity mistake: The champagne bottle was behind some candles on the table, but in front of them and in the corner of the table when Danny picked it up. The number and arrangement of the (CGI) candles also varied with close-up versus more distant views. (00:04:42)
Continuity mistake: There are orange traffic cones about 3' from each side of the front bumper of Sarah's car, but they are not always visible when they should be. In the right-rear view of the car, the left cone is not visible, but the car cannot conceal it. The traffic cone is visible before Aden is walking around the front of the car, but not when he is walking to the door. The tip of a cone is visible some distance opposite the rear passenger door, but cannot be the one near the front bumper. (00:01:52 - 00:02:55)
Factual error: The owl that JP was looking at made a "who who" sound. The owl may appear to be a Snowy Owl (one many people are familiar with), but it is a Barn Owl. Barn owls are not "true" owls and it is the true owls who "give a hoot." Barn owls don't hoot; they make a screeching or squealing sound which can be piercing (and eerie to some people). (00:32:50)
Factual error: April arrives for her first day of work at "Shady Oaks Senior Living" and sees Max, the resident who passed away the night before, being wheeled out on a stretcher with his head uncovered. A deceased person's entire body would be covered by the sheet. (00:03:14)
Deliberate mistake: Abraham is sitting to the right of and slightly behind the cross he hammered into the ground, but is about 3' away. When there is a close-up, Abraham is much closer to the cross - the end of the crossbar to the right is directly above his shoulder and his knees appear to be close to the vertical bar. (00:45:15)
Continuity mistake: When The Artist is talking on the phone to Detective Mary Kelly, sometimes his long, wavy hair behind the phone is flat and other times fluffy (extending wider than the phone). (00:14:45)
Continuity mistake: After Art yells for Jesse to come to eat lunch, the stick of butter on the plate is roughly parallel to the edge of the table, but is diagonal when Art and Jess come to the table. A later view from the other end of the table shows the stick of butter parallel to the edge again. Some of the family members take a roll out of the basket, but none take any butter (so did not move it). (00:20:45)
Other mistake: Two goons almost caught up to Jimmy's Suburban when Natasha was driving. It isn't clear what the distance was between the vehicles, but close enough to see the other's vehicle. Natasha slowed down so that she could roll out of the driver's side "unnoticed" - and she somehow managed to do so. (00:47:18)
Continuity mistake: When Sammy is learning his lifesaver lessons, he leans on the edge of the counter. From the opposite angle, his hand has moved several inches to the centre.
