Factual error: While playing soccer in the background, Ali's "credentials" were displayed across the screen. Under "Academics", Ali is listed as "MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY" - but "Honors" should be singular ("Honor"). It is also odd to state "All 'A' honor roll." With a GPA of 4.3, something to the effect of "Highest Honors with Distinction" would be more likely. [It is possible to receive a "B" in an Advanced Placement course yet have a GPA above 4.0.]. Deliberate mistake: There isn't an accurately-positioned light source bright or close enough that can project striped lines - especially that wide - across Rockit's face while he is lying in bed. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: During their first encounter (the first we see in the movie, at least), Sheila sits next to Gary, and they both order Old Fashioned. Phil the Bartender makes a comment on that, and she shoos him off. Look at Kaley Cuoco 's bag; one of the straps keeps going on/off the top of the bag between shots. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: The bite marks on Doc's sandwich were inconsistent/contradictory. Doc took a corner bite out of his sandwich, then the sandwich was shown with an additional side bite mark (made off-screen?). When the sandwich was shown again, the distinctive bite marks were gone and the side of the sandwich that had been eaten was straight across. Doc was holding the sandwich in his right hand; after another camera shift, Doc was holding the sandwich in his left hand and the unique side bite mark was back. (00:18:22 - 00:18:48)
Continuity mistake: The position of the sunglasses on the dashboard changes a few times. A view from the back seat shows the right temple (stem/arm) reaching between the blue and green balls and almost touching the green one. Later, the right temple is between the red and blue ball and the temple is almost touching the red ball. The temples also go from spread apart to folded/overlapping, with the right lens behind the red ball instead of the green ball where it was. The angle of the camera cannot explain this. (00:03:44 - 00:04:49)
Factual error: Josephine walks away from her father King Louie 14th, after he tells her she has to marry the young Duke Lintillac for his money. When you look at back of Josephine, you can see a zipper in her skirt. King Louie 14th was King from 1643 until his death in 1715. The first zipper was invented was in 1851. The zipper being used as we know it present day was invented in the early 1890s by Whitcomb L. Judson. (00:55:57)
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall behind Carl when he is pushing the wheelchair to Bess' room is at 11:58. After Carl puts Bess into the wheelchair and is pushing her down the hall, the clock is at 11:45 (or, possibly, 9:00). (00:14:08 - 00:15:40)
Deliberate mistake: The number of clicks (sounds) Christine made on the "text to talk" device did not match the total characters she typed. With few exceptions, there were a lot less clicks/sounds than there should have been based on the amount of letters/words she typed. (00:06:40 - 00:15:30)
Plot hole: After sending the offensive message to his students, Charlie got on-line with them (within hours or the same day?) and said, "Well, your complaints have been heard. I've been replaced..." IF an on-line college instructor could be terminated and replaced as quickly as Charlie was, it would follow that he would no longer be able to access the on-line course to communicate with the students like he did. (01:39:55)
Suggested correction: I think this is based on too much assumption. Any sort-of ban would likely be entire dependent on whatever system they're using for their online class. And it's entirely plausible he'd still be able to access his account mere hours later, even if the call has already been made to replace him.
I worked for the Defence department in Australia and it was a running gag that eighteen months after I had left my online access to my account was still open, allowing me access to highly classified documentation, including emails. Mistakes happen.
Continuity mistake: Alan goes into his appointment with Dr. Fredericks at 5:08, and it is still 5:08 on the wall clock when he leaves her office. (00:10:20 - 00:14:03)
Continuity mistake: The mailbox is roughly parallel to Richard's SUV but is more perpendicular when he looks at the address number, then it is back to parallel. (00:06:40)
Factual error: At the end of the film a character is walking through a studio lot in 1952. Through the trees behind him can be seen a section of a poster advertising Jackass Forever (2022).
Revealing mistake: There's something odd about the chair that is (or is not?) to the right of Monsignor Kelly when Stu goes into his office to talk. Only part of the back of the chair can be seen and it is not directly in front of the Monsignor, but there is not enough room for the seat part to be there (otherwise, the Monsignor could not be standing where he is). Without any indication that the Monsignor or chair moved, the Monsignor is later able to rest his right hand on the chair's back. (01:13:57 - 01:14:37)
Deliberate mistake: A pot pie in an aluminium pan that just came out of the oven would be extremely hot, but Karen was not only able to tolerate it being shoved into her mouth, she was able to take a bite and hold the hot pie pan in her hand without getting burned. (00:09:44)
Continuity mistake: In the wide view of "Quick Stop Groceries," there is a yellow pole directly in front of and almost touching the far right side of the van's front bumper, but the pole isn't there in the rear view of the van. (00:01:43)
Deliberate mistake: Elizabeth will not be able to save Mateo from falling backwards into the fire pit by grabbing his hand or pulling him back after his whole body is suspended over the edge. (01:13:47)
Continuity mistake: The amount of snow accumulated on the chalet's wraparound porch railing was higher when looking outside compared to external views, such as when Emily was outside talking on the phone with Becca. (00:13:35 - 00:15:05)
Continuity mistake: Before Eamon hung his jacket and hat on the nails, there were three nails close together near the right side of the board. When he was hanging his jacket and hat, there were only two nails, which appeared to have more distance between them. When the camera shifted, there were a couple nails protruding to the left of the hat. The single nail that was on the far left side of the board turned into two nails. (00:04:38)
Continuity mistake: Overlooking the sudden drop from 1:02 to 0:17 seconds on the countdown clock, the one-second interval beeps are not accurate. In the countdown from 10 seconds, there are approximately or precisely 10 beeps, then the countdown clock shows 4 seconds remaining. (00:19:55)
Factual error: April arrives for her first day of work at "Shady Oaks Senior Living" and sees Max, the resident who passed away the night before, being wheeled out on a stretcher with his head uncovered. A deceased person's entire body would be covered by the sheet. (00:03:14)
