Continuity mistake: When Maren is reading the letter her mother wrote for her, in a close-up shot of the letter, her right thumb is beneath the letter and her right index finger is above the letter. In the next shot, her right thumb is on top of the letter and her right index finger is beneath the letter. (01:22:24)
Continuity mistake: Simi enters the bedroom and the upper half of the bedspread is smooth. Aunt Claudia is holding a book with both hands, so she is not touching the bed. The front (somewhat aerial) view of the bed shows that the upper part of the bedspread has multiple ripples. (00:17:55 - 00:18:42)
Continuity mistake: There are orange traffic cones about 3' from each side of the front bumper of Sarah's car, but they are not always visible when they should be. In the right-rear view of the car, the left cone is not visible, but the car cannot conceal it. The traffic cone is visible before Aden is walking around the front of the car, but not when he is walking to the door. The tip of a cone is visible some distance opposite the rear passenger door, but cannot be the one near the front bumper. (00:01:52 - 00:02:55)
Continuity mistake: The wrapped Christmas presents set near the airplane's tail are stacked differently in the before and after views of Ben's arms in the storage compartment. The gold package that is on top is missing and the larger green package on the ground is angled away from the others. Later, the green package is aligned with and touching the lower gold package. Audio problem: When the boy and the leader of Iceland are hammering in posts and the boy is complaining that he's the heir and shouldn't have to do manual labor, there are at least two times when bad wind flutter in the microphones can be heard. It sounds like the wind clips the volume level and the audio briefly cuts out. It happens on windy film shoots, as wind screens can only prevent so much and its obviously very windy in this scene. Why this wasn't caught in post is hard to say. This is audible on the video on demand version.
Suggested correction: No such problem exists on the UHD/Blu-ray release. I also did not notice it on the VOD release, so it could have just been an issue with your sound setup.
Continuity mistake: During their first encounter (the first we see in the movie, at least), Sheila sits next to Gary, and they both order Old Fashioned. Phil the Bartender makes a comment on that, and she shoos him off. Look at Kaley Cuoco 's bag; one of the straps keeps going on/off the top of the bag between shots. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Dr. April's bangs usually have several gaps in them across her forehead (similar to a sawtooth pattern), but are more evenly combed at times. The movement of her head does not change the sawtooth pattern as she turns, so is not enough to explain the variation. (00:05:00 - 00:05:30)
Factual error: The movie is set in the Northern Great Plains of the United States, and the tribe is identified as Comanche, but the Comanche were located in the Southern Great Plains, across present-day northwestern Texas, eastern New Mexico, southeastern Colorado, southwestern Kansas, and western Oklahoma.
Revealing mistake: The 50 dollar bills that appear in the opening credits all have the same serial number (and you can find online the texture they used with great ease, just like the one for the 20 dollar bills stack). (00:03:45)
Other mistake: It looks like James still has the lens cover on his camera when he is taking pictures of Mohsin. Even in the dark, the lens should not look as black as the camera. (00:31:29)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter puts Lily's "Cleopatra Special" plate in front of her, the long, white, curved ingredients (bean sprouts?) stick upward across her plate, but none are visible or sticking out in alternating views of her plate. (00:08:30)
Plot hole: When Cage and his wife and mates are going to the FBI safehouse the FBI agent shoots 2 baddies two separate times whilst Cage etc. are ascending the stairs, yet they don't hear the gunshots.
Continuity mistake: The night Krypto loses his powers, he gets a black eye on his left eye. However, the next day, the wound is gone.
Deliberate mistake: Bill's back is some distance from the middle gap in the curtains, but an exterior view of him hugging Ellen captures their faces as if they are standing closer to the window and the gap in the curtains is wider. (00:32:45)
Continuity mistake: Travis rearranged a photo on the desk, setting it partially in front of the box and the two pictures were a few inches apart. The next wide view showed the corner of the picture almost aligned with the box or slightly behind it and the two pictures were now almost touching. The angles and locations of the photos changed more than once. (00:09:40 - 00:10:03)
Factual error: At the end of the film a character is walking through a studio lot in 1952. Through the trees behind him can be seen a section of a poster advertising Jackass Forever (2022).
Continuity mistake: Outside the warehouse door/metal gate, Shae's flashlight produces a bright circle of light onto the pavement because it is a dimly-lit area. She uses her flashlight to look under the gate, which is open about 2' at the bottom. After she rolls under the gate, the pavement now behind her is in the sunlight. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: The bite marks on Doc's sandwich were inconsistent/contradictory. Doc took a corner bite out of his sandwich, then the sandwich was shown with an additional side bite mark (made off-screen?). When the sandwich was shown again, the distinctive bite marks were gone and the side of the sandwich that had been eaten was straight across. Doc was holding the sandwich in his right hand; after another camera shift, Doc was holding the sandwich in his left hand and the unique side bite mark was back. (00:18:22 - 00:18:48)
Revealing mistake: Driving home from meeting Gigi, there is an image on the windshield of a blue handicapped parking permit/placard that is supposed to be hung on the rearview mirror, but there is no placard hanging - the permit's image is superimposed on the windshield. The image even briefly appears and reappears. (00:34:05)
Character mistake: Sam told Tyler, "I work 36-hour shifts, so no time for friends or relationships." There might not be Federal regulations restricting the number of hours a nurse may work in a given 24-hour (or 7-day) period, but nurses have to maintain standards of duty/care and working too many consecutive hours would jeopardize her patients. It is recommended that nurses do not work more than 12.5 hours a day or more than three consecutive DAYS of 12-hour shifts. This gives 4 days OFF for relationships. (00:26:50)
