Correction: You can't presume to be an authority on Bikini Bottom's system of mail, specifically when mail can or can't be delivered or picked up in this bizarre fictional world. Or if the mailman is simply wearing it off work.

Corrected entry: When Frank-N-Furter is singing and slowly walking out over the swimming pool in the mist just before jumping in, you can see him carefully feel for the edge of the platform with his foot. (01:20:50)

Correction: There is no reason why Frank-N-Furter should not need to feel for its edge, so he can jump in. Not a movie mistake.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: When Wormtail slices his own flesh in order to revive Voldemort, he cuts off his wrist before the shot switches to Harry. Later on, as Wormtail approaches harry to receive his blood, his arm is missing from the elbow.

Correction: The length of Wormtail's arm, after the hand has been severed, remains consistent during this scene. It is never "missing from the elbow".

Super Grover

Corrected entry: Before the song "Dammit Janet", just after the newlyweds leave, there is a boom mic visible at the top of the screen.

Correction: Just after Ralph and Betty drive away, there is a light fixture over the church doors (swaying a bit) that is only partially visible, when Brad and Janet stand there, that you have mistaken as a boom mic. There is no boom mic seen overhead.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: When Harry is underwater in the bathroom, Myrtle touches the open egg, disturbing its bubbles. How could she have touched them if she's a ghost?

Correction: We've already seen Myrtle have an effect on our corporeal realm in 'HP and The Chamber of Secrets', when she dives into the toilet bowl in the girls' bathroom and creates a great splash.

Drake and Josh (2004)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the episode when Drake joins the Academic team just to impress a girl, look at the scene when the academic game starts. For about a second, before the announcer starts talking, the Belliview scoreboard says 1. Then immediately flashes back to zero.

logan crews

Correction: A key on a scoreboard's control console either got pushed accidentally, or has had possible signal interference from a cell phone or pager, and then is immediately rectified. This happens. There is no mistake here.

The Apostle (1997)

Corrected entry: The twins play their ukuleles twice. The first time they both play left-handed, the second time one plays right-handed.

Correction: This is referred to as being ambidextrous, which is not uncommon, musically or otherwise.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: When Will and Jack go to wake up Mr. Gibbs on Tortuga, Jack has the bucket and throws the first lot of water. He then moves forward to speak to Mr. Gibbs without putting down or passing the bucket. In the next shot, Will has the bucket and throws the water "for the smell".

Correction: Both Jack and Will fetched pails of water (couldn't resist). Will holds a second pail the entire time and just as he tosses the water Jack's pail is still visible in his left hand.

Immortal Beloved (1994)

Corrected entry: Beethoven is seen removing the dedication to Napoleon from the title page of "Eroica" at the same time as the siege of Vienna. The dedication was removed several years before, when Napoleon declared himself Emperor of France.

David Mercier

Correction: The filmmakers do not claim this film to be historically accurate. It contains many historical inaccuracies and takes liberties regarding people and events. As such, it comes down to a deliberate directorial decision and artistic license.

1776 (1972)

Corrected entry: The real Caesar Rodney was nowhere near as decrepit as portrayed in the film. Additionally, he was not gnomelike, but was tall and thin as reported by John Adams in a letter to Abigail. Also, even though he did have skin cancer on his cheek which he covered with a scarf, he was not dying of it, and in fact, lived for eight years after the signing, and indeed until after the Treaty of Paris (1783) recognized American Independence. Rodney was actually suffering that summer, but it was from asthma exacerbated by the heat "in foul, fetid, fuming, foggy, filthy Philadelphia." Nonetheless, the reason for his absence from Congress was not his ill-health. As head of the Delaware Militia, he had been called away to deal with a Tory riot against Independence.

Onesimos

Correction: When the filmmakers choose to change the physical appearance, such as height and weight, of a real historical figure, as in the case of Caesar Rodney, it is a standard accepted movie convention. As to the matter of his ailments, the filmmakers do not claim this film to be a historical documentary, and as such, they are not obligated to be factually accurate. Chalk it up to artistic license.

1776 (1972)

Corrected entry: When Secretary Thomson says that all members are present with the following exceptions: Paine, Gerry, Samuel Adams, Morton, Wythe, Richard H. Lee, New Jersey. More were missing: Carter Braxton (VA), William Ellery (RI), William Floyd and Philip Livingston (all NY), Francis Lee (VA), most of the Pennsylvania delegates, Matthew Thornton (NH), William Williams (CT), New Jersey came later, and 2 were missing: Abraham Clark and John Hart.

Correction: This film is not intended to be a historical documentary. Although the film (based on the Broadway musical comedy) is based on real events and real people, some of the characters and events have been changed or left out for dramatic/comedic purposes. This is called artistic license.

Corrected entry: During the alterations frenzy, Reverend Witherspoon states, "Nowhere do you mention the Supreme Being." and proposes the addition of the phrase "With a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence." While this clause actually is an addition to Jefferson's final draft, the reasoning, as shown in the film, is wrong.

Corrected entry: John Dickinson is shown desperately trying to block the Declaration right up to the final vote. In reality, however, Dickinson was not present at the final vote on the resolution; having been kept at home so as not to kill the Declaration.

1776 (1972)

Corrected entry: Just before the signing, Stephen Hopkins states that he wants to "remember each man's face as he signs." The filmmakers screwed up. William Ellery, a delegate from Rhode Island, where Hopkins was from, said this. Ellery was not shown in the movie.

Correction: This film is not intended to be a historical documentary, hence the filmmakers did not "screw up." Although the film (based on the Broadway musical comedy) is based on real events and real people, some of the characters and events have been changed or left out for dramatic/comedic purposes.

Little Big Man (1970)

Corrected entry: Custer is shown being killed by arrows hitting him, but in reality he killed by bullets: one in the chest and one in the head.

Correction: True as that may be, this movie does not claim historical accuracy, so consider this artistic license on the part of the filmmakers.

Untraceable (2008)

Corrected entry: During the scene on the bridge when the detective's car shuts down, she doesn't try to unlock the door before she breaks the window. The unlock lever is right above the handle, and is in the lock position. It is impossible to lock yourself in a car. (01:22:30)

Correction: When people are upset, anxious, feeling pressure or are nervous in any way, they don't necessarily think logically. This is simply chalked up to a character mistake.

The Great Escape (1963)

Corrected entry: When Ramsay, Bartlett, Cavendish and Mac are discussing the distances 'Tom' and 'Harry' have been dug, Cavendish is smoking a pipe. Although he has the right end in his mouth, the part with the tobacco in it is facing east instead of north. It stays like this for about 3 seconds before he realises and corrects it. (01:14:15)

xristy007

Correction: The fact that the pipe bowl is turned to the side for a couple of seconds is certainly not a 'movie mistake', since this can occur to any pipe smoking individual, such as my late uncle, when not paying attention. Then, as you say, he realized its position and turned the stem to place the bowl upright. It happens.

Corrected entry: In the chase scene where Checkov is being rescued from the hospital, there is a shot where the crew bursts through some doors and knock over a man on crutches wearing a cast. As he falls, Bones grabs him and the camera pans off. Once the camera pans, you can hear Bones say to him, "Great shot!" This was on the video version of the movie. I haven't seen the DVD.

Correction: As the shot opens, when McCoy holds the door open for Kirk (who pushes Chekov's gurney through the doorway), McCoy turns around just in time to see the man with a leg cast (being assisted by a candy-striper) lose his balance and fall backwards directly onto the bench beside the wall, right next to another man. McCoy is pleased that the man landed perfectly on the bench, when he concernedly rushes to him and says, "Great catch" as he leans down.

Super Grover

Corrected entry: When Harry arrives at the Weasley's we see the clock that shows where everyone is. We see the twins' and Ron's picture moving to show they're home, but no-one else's picture is in the same place. Shortly afterwards we see that everyone else is already home, except Mr. Weasley. (00:11:15)

Correction: In the close-up, Molly, Ginny and Percy's picture hands are pointing toward the Burrow's garden, so I don't understand why you say "no-one else's picture is in the same place". Then, "shortly afterward" of course they are at home, they were only right outside. And then Mr. Weasley arrives home. Where's the mistake?
