Continuity mistake: In the gas station scene after Ellen learns that Phil has drowned, she is so distraught she forgets to put the gas cap on and we can see it on the roof of her car as she drives away. But when she arrives at the police station we can see that the gas cap is on. (01:10:20)

Character mistake: When Mr. Brooks and Marshall hack into the police database and are looking at detective Tracy Atwood's financial records there is a screenshot of the computer screen showing some very terrible spelling.
Continuity mistake: When Christopher Lee in drag is leading the procession towards their mini-stonehenge, look at the dolmen the villagers go through; the shadows vary significantly direction in the space of a cut.

Continuity mistake: Inside Lord Peel's study, Poirot asks Lady Westholme what did she do after lunch, since "You did not immediately go for your walk, I believe." Continuity mistake: After Chloe runs off into the woods and the other two girls finally find her after she's had her run in with Slender Man, they are shining the flashlight in her eyes and asking her questions. Factual error: When Watson is pinned down by Moran at the arms factory in Germany, he hides behind a large artillery piece. He looks around and sees a pair of hearing protection. They appear to be modern hearing protection ear muffs, wrapped with cloth to make them look period. They have plastic clips to detach the ear cups from the metal band, which gives them away as being modern. They appear to be Peltor style hearing protection.
Continuity mistake: When Frank Walker and Casey Newton get into Frank's bath to escape the robots, Frank gets in on the left and Casey gets in on the right. They get shot off but when they land in the swamp, Frank is on the right and Casey is on the left.
