Continuity mistake: After David has sent his daughter texts asking since when does she not text at school, it shows he's in a video conference with some other people split onto 3 screens on his computer. The image of his boss above and the image of the 3 people to the left of David's video never changes. However, upon cutting to closer or further angles of David's video, it frequently switches back and froth from a mirrored image or not. Despite there being no reason for it switching depending on the movie's camera. (00:15:40)
Continuity mistake: Deanna is playing racquetball with her friend when she hits her in the lady parts with the ball. The two sit down by the wall; look at the bottle Melissa McCarthy is holding; it's practically empty, but in the closer angle when she sobs "What am I doing?" it is almost completely refilled. Continuity mistake: When Toby puts two drinking glasses from the workmen in the trash can it is not lined, but when Delores opens the trash can it is lined with a paper bag.

Continuity mistake: When Steve opens the RV window for Olivia, he reaches at the center to unlatch the pane in order to slide it to the left; the right side of the window is still closed or immobile. A little later when Olivia is right next to the window, there is one pane that slides to the left, there is a screen, and the thin aluminium frame is much wider. Continuity mistake: In the basement when the girls are talking, one mentions to Chloe that she and Carl would make an adorable couple. Chloe's left arm is stretched up above her head in this shot. Continuity mistake: When Ryan and Taylor are talking, she puts on a green shirt and her ponytail is still inside it. It cuts to a different angle angle and suddenly her hair is outside her shirt.
Continuity mistake: When Vera shows the book to Leira, he takes it off her by placing his finger on the page she is pointing to. In the same shot, his thumb can be seen pressed against the finger he is holding the page with. When the shot cuts, his thumb is now holding the front of the book. (01:10:42)

Continuity mistake: When Sophia and the lawyer are having dinner, right when he says he remembers her wearing long stockings, she covers her face. From the opposite shot, her arms are lowered.
Continuity mistake: When Dave and Meg are at the park/campus talking and come across a sculptor, they begin to talk while stopped, watching. Several times Meg's head changes from looking at Dave to watching the sculptor between shots.
Continuity mistake: The Stalker, "Shrike," is a persistent hunter, but not terribly quick on his feet. He's sort of a lurching, Frankenstein-like cyborg who is always pursuing Hester Shaw at about walking speed. When Valentine frees Shrike from Sharkmoor prison, miles out to sea, we see Valentine in his airship destroying the prison and we see Shrike's prison cell sink to the sea floor. This cuts to a long distance shot of the prison exploding and sinking in the far background, miles away, as Valentine's airship comes sweeping from the far background into the foreground and out of frame. Almost immediately, Shrike emerges from the surf in the foreground and slowly trudges ashore, implying that he somehow travelled miles across the sea floor just as swiftly as did the airship, in a matter of moments, despite his slow, lumbering gait.
