Continuity mistake: The Stalker, "Shrike," is a persistent hunter, but not terribly quick on his feet. He's sort of a lurching, Frankenstein-like cyborg who is always pursuing Hester Shaw at about walking speed. When Valentine frees Shrike from Sharkmoor prison, miles out to sea, we see Valentine in his airship destroying the prison and we see Shrike's prison cell sink to the sea floor. This cuts to a long distance shot of the prison exploding and sinking in the far background, miles away, as Valentine's airship comes sweeping from the far background into the foreground and out of frame. Almost immediately, Shrike emerges from the surf in the foreground and slowly trudges ashore, implying that he somehow travelled miles across the sea floor just as swiftly as did the airship, in a matter of moments, despite his slow, lumbering gait. Continuity mistake: There are several variations or inconsistencies in Marcus' hair and tie from the time he goes through the metal detector and sits in the courtroom. His hair was consistently "messy", but disheveled right and/or left sides were inconsistent. The tie was fairly snug against his collar at first, but got looser then tighter. (00:54:14 - 00:57:08)
Continuity mistake: While talking in his kitchen, Tom's phone is sitting next to a glass that is by Hallie's arm. When he steps forward and it shows a close up of him reaching for the phone, suddenly it's moved over to the left a bit and turned crooked. (01:01:20)
Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more. The ice cream in the bowl starts out being about half-full, goes down to less than one-fourth, and returns to about half-full again. (01:02:47 - 01:03:19)
Continuity mistake: When Toby puts two drinking glasses from the workmen in the trash can it is not lined, but when Delores opens the trash can it is lined with a paper bag.
Continuity mistake: When Ryan and Taylor are talking, she puts on a green shirt and her ponytail is still inside it. It cuts to a different angle angle and suddenly her hair is outside her shirt.
Continuity mistake: When Dave and Meg are at the park/campus talking and come across a sculptor, they begin to talk while stopped, watching. Several times Meg's head changes from looking at Dave to watching the sculptor between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Stallone kills the bad guys with skull masks in the corridor of the bar, his motions pointing the pistol don't match the positions of the lemming-like goons he hits. For instance he has the gun all the way to his right for the first one he kills, but the guy is shown with a hole opening in his forehead while he's in the middle of the corridor. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: The children sink into the grain when they fall into the silo however when the monster stands atop the door they are hiding underneath, they don't sink in.
Continuity mistake: In the space shuttle, as the astronauts are preparing to leave and avoid the asteroid, the one in the front left seat is fiddling around with some controls and raises and lowers his arm. It is a smooth animation of his arm each time it moves. He lowers it back down and then the one behind him mentions the bay doors are still open, and then suddenly the guy in front's arm just jumps back up to its previous position instantly like a jump cut. Continuity mistake: At the diner, Zach moved his drink from the tray and set it on the table to the right of his plate and right arm. When his dad sat at the table, Zach's drink was to the left of his plate and left arm. Also, Zach was playing with a plastic fork with both hands and was turned to his right while talking to his dad, but his drink was suddenly between his arms after a camera shift. Continuity mistake: When the Overgard makes a cave in the snow for the night with the girl, he goes to put her picture in her coat. She is sleeping with her hands down at her legs. When it cuts to a close up of the picture going into her coat, suddenly her right hand is up on her chest. (00:47:12)
Continuity mistake: Whilst driving back after meeting with Paul Castellano, Gotti has his hand on the driver seat headrest in some shots, but in others his hand is on the seat. (00:35:05)
Continuity mistake: The day after the robbery, Jacob is in his kitchen watching the news when his wife asks how he is. He says he's okay, he things and has his hand on his chin. In the next shot just before she continues talking, suddenly his hand is down. (00:23:15)
Continuity mistake: Upon arrival at the gas station, Deb parked her car at a slant (diagonally) and somewhat distant to the front door, but when she was leaving, her car was perpendicular and closer to the front door. (00:21:37 - 00:24:43)
Continuity mistake: In Alice's apartment the clock on the wall has the time as 8:40 when she is standing and kissing David. They have sex and Veronica comes over. Alice and Veronica talk and the clock still shows 8:40. (01:20:00)
Continuity mistake: Lisa sneaks into the room that Kayla prepared for Julie and sits on the bed where an arrow is made with licorice. In a close up, part of it is moved so the arrow is crooked. But in the next shot after she asks herself what is she doing there, it is straightened out. (01:12:40)
Continuity mistake: Zoe and her friend are walking out of the medical training room at the start and she has her phone/ipod in her hands. In the next shot in a close up, she's suddenly putting her hands in her pockets. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: When the police knocks at the door of Simon's trailer, Jean-Hugues Anglade 's arm changes position between shots as he talks to his daughter.
Continuity mistake: When Nick Cage and the woman get to her place and start to make out, he takes her bra off, leaving her bare chested as he fondles her. It cuts to a different angle as they are kissing and suddenly her bra is back on again, only to be gone in the following shot.
