Potential - S7-E12

Trivia: Obvious with hindsight, but less so at the time. Kennedy is later revealed to be gay, and her interest in Willow is hinted at but not stated outright. However, when all the potentials are playing with the weapons, Rona grabs a stake, saying "I like the feel of wood in my hand". Kennedy arrives mid-way through that line, and says "lost me there". Possibly her thinking it's just a "middle of the conversation" comment, or just a blatant indicator of her sexual preference.

Jon Sandys

Tabula Rasa - S6-E8

Trivia: A Dictionary definition of the phrase "Tabula Rasa" is: Latin, smoothed or erased tablet. 1) the mind in its hypothetical primary blank or empty state before receiving outside impressions. 2) something existing in its original pristine state. Fitting, don't you think?

Touched - S7-E20

Trivia: This episode featured the first lesbian sex scene aired on a prime-time television network. UPN was more lenient than the WB; when the show was still aired on the latter, Willow and Tara weren't allowed to be shown in any situation even remotely sexual.

Once More, With Feeling - S6-E7

Trivia: When the woman is singing about her parking ticket, if you turn up the volume you can hear her last line of song 'and im not wearing any underwear' very faint, but its there.

Trivia: Though they were credited as executive producers during the show's entire run, the only involvement in the series on the parts of Fran and Kaz Kuzui came from financing and producing the Buffy movie.

Tabula Rasa - S6-E8

Trivia: The episode, Tabula Rasa, is very aptly named. Tabula Rasa (Latin) means 'blank slate' (which refers to being born 'blank' and that intellect and behavior only comes from experience and perception) and is appropriate since the characters lost all their memories due to Willow's spell.

Trivia: With her appearance as The First in season seven, Joyce Summers was the only character outside the Scooby Gang to appear in all seven seasons.

Nightmares - S1-E10

Trivia: You can briefly see that Willow has a bumper sticker for the band "Nerf Herder" in her locker. They're the band who does the theme song for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Teacher's Pet - S1-E4

Trivia: Musetta Vander, who plays Miss French/She-Mantis, was very squeamish about the scene where she makes an "insect sandwich" with crickets. Not only was she grossed out by having to handle real crickets, but as an animal lover, she was incredibly worried that she'd accidentally kill one of them when she folded the bread over. According to Vander, no crickets were killed during the filming of the scene. (When the showed her eating the sandwich, they switched it out with another cricket-less one).

I Robot, You Jane - S1-E8

Trivia: The demon's name is Moloch, a word found several times in the Hebrew Bible that is commonly associated with either a type of deity, or as a term referring to a type of sacrifice. The name was also chosen in part because in addition to its mythological connotations, it's also similar to the word "malloc," which is a function in C-based computing languages that has to do with allotting unused memory. The fact the term connected to both the mythological and technological made it fit perfectly.

TedStixon

Goodbye Iowa - S4-E14

Continuity mistake: When Buffy is talking to Riley, she puts the scarf on her head, on his hand. He talks to her and says "Maybe I am the bad guy," and in the next frame her scarf is back on her head again, then off again in the next frame. (00:24:20)

Touched - S7-E20

Spike: You listen to me. [Kneels in front of her.] I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you. [Buffy looks away; he reaches toward her face.] Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say, "I love you, " it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.
Buffy: [Quietly.] I don't wanna be the one.

The Yoko Factor (1) - S4-E20

Question: At the last moment before leaving for good, Angel pauses to tell Buffy "I don't like him" [Riley], to which she replies with a large smile "Thank you." Why does she take this comment surprisingly well? From an ex boyfriend to her new boyfriend? It's not like it sounds like a friendly warning of any sort, nor a joke given the tense situation between the two guys in the episode. And the smile on Buffy's face does not make her response look ironic either, more like loving/caring. Is that a cross over reference to another dialogue in the Angel series?

AnthonyA

Chosen answer: Angel is saying that he is still jealous and Buffy recognizes that this is his way of saying he wishes that they could be together. That is why they both smile.
