Continuity mistake: When Bree mentions that the chances of two accidental deaths around Jake are "a billion to one", in the first shot she has both hands on her wine glass, but in the next shot, she's only holding it with one hand.

Other mistake: Chucky's right middle finger is slightly but noticeably discoloured when he's talking to Jake in the bedroom near the beginning of the episode. It looks a bit more dull and grey than his other fingers. The "sculpt" also looks a bit rougher than the other fingers. It doesn't look like this in any other scene. (I'm assuming something happened to his finger during filming, and the special effects team had to rush to fix it during filming.)

Continuity mistake: When Chucky tells Jake that he has a queer child, he lowers his arm when it cuts to the over-the-shoulder shot. When it cuts back to the front shot, his arm is back up again.

Continuity mistake: When Jake tells Junior to call 911, Junior sets down a magazine. In the next shot, you can just barely see that there's suddenly some pamphlets on top of the magazine, even though it should be on top of them.
Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.
