Suggested correction: Too vague. The girls are represented by dummies and the scene is consistent.

The Green Mile (1999)

Continuity mistake: When they tape Percy's mouth shut before putting him in the restraint room, the handkerchief is partly outside his mouth and gets stuck to the tape, when they let Percy out, the handkerchief has moved. If he's been locked in there with the straight jacket on, there is no way he could have moved it.

Suggested correction: He could have and likely did move the handkerchief with his mouth.

Suggested correction: If he was acting normally (for Sheldon), he wouldn't. However, Sheldon isn't acting as he normally would due to lack of sleep, and his obsession with solving a problem.

Andy Benham

The severity of his phobia would not be minimized by lack of sleep.

MovieFan612

Sheldon's mind is distracted by the problem he is trying to solve. He grabs other people's food, he allows Raj to touch his food, he handles dirty cutlery at the cheesecake factory, All characteristics that would be present if he was acting normally. The fact that he is in the ball pit is simply an extension.

Ssiscool

Severe sleep deprivation could certainly affect how Sheldon reacts to phobias. The brain requires sleep to function and with a severe lack of sleep, the brain is no longer able to send the signals that alert Sheldon to his fear of germs.

Twister (1996)

Continuity mistake: After the first tornado when Jo's truck is destroyed, you see Bill's truck with a shell on it. When their group is leaving the scene, the shell is gone and one of the Dorothys is in the bed. Where did the shell go?

kaevanoff

Suggested correction: ANSWER; As some time elapses between the tornado aftermath and leaving the scene, there are plenty of reasons why the shell moved.

Monsters, Inc. (2001)

Audio problem: Jerry counts down from seven. When he has to say one his mouth opens, but he doesn't actually say one. (00:14:38)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Many times when counting down, three-two-one is silent.

MovieFan612

Especially when filming something like this, so the numbers aren't accidentally recorded.

Factual error: In one shot you will see round hay bails that did not exist during the time period.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Early round balers, like the one that went into production in 1947 and sold like hotcakes amid the postwar economic boom, produced fairly small bales, which farmers still had to move around by hand.

Shutter Island (2010)

Corrected entry: On the approach to the island on the ferry, Leo has both a wedding ring on and no ring on his finger at alternating times.

Correction: This is intentional. The ring is a symbol indicating when and when not Teddy is caught in his delusions. When the ring is on he is delusional, thinking he is the marshal finding out all the dark secrets of the facility. When the ring is absent he is lucid and aware of his past crimes and his own delusions.

Friends (1994)

Correction: A third nipple is usually much smaller than the other nipples, several inches away and looks more like a mole. For example, Mark Wahlberg has a third nipple that looks like a mole. It is likely if Ross saw Chandler without a shirt on and saw anything, he assumed it was a mole and Chandler did not tell Ross what it was. Chandler likely mentioned it to Joey.

Kaltenmeyer

Correction: If Ross knew, then everyone else (except Rachel) would know too. If so, then why would Chandler be so angry at Monica for telling them. Obviously no-one knew about his third nipple because it was Chandler's big secret.

They were roommates in college. Ross knew.

Friends (1994)

Correction: Phoebe says they're calling the man John Doe, so that is the name that must be on the bracelet and it is not his real name.

Correction: She was wondering what his real name was.

The Green Mile (1999)

Corrected entry: The paper states that the date of the execution is July 10, 1935. Then at the end of the movie you can see that Paul and John are watching a film called Top Hat. The problem is that the movie was released on August 29, 1935. They watched it just before execution so maybe July 9, 1935, and at that time the movie wasn't released.

Correction: The July 10 execution was Arlen Bitterbuck's, not John Coffey's. Coffey's was in November, so John could have seen "Top Hat."

A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: When the teacher asks "Where's Flick" (while his tongue is stuck to the pole), standing behind her desk, center room, she looks to her right and sees outdoors as if she is at the window. Then she rushes to the window in only two steps. When she runs towards the class door (opposite side of room) you can count 5 to 6 steps to get her from the window back to her desk.

cleangroove

Correction: She moves toward the window as soon as she sees him and the number of steps and time are appropriate.

MovieFan612

Corrected entry: Leaves can be seen on several trees around the Griswold house, which is supposed to be in Chicago and its obviously supposed to be wintertime.

manthabeat

Correction: We sometimes have leaves on some of our trees all the way through winter. They only fall off with extreme winds.

Up (2009)

Corrected entry: When Russell is on Carl's front porch, Russell calls him "Mr. Fredrickson," despite the fact that he never introduced himself.

Correction: Mr. Frederickson is very well known in the town, he's lived there all his life and is part of a major dispute with a corporation. It is not unreasonable to assume that Russell already knew of him prior to knocking on the door.

MovieFan612

Correction: Russell could have very easily asked the construction workers outside who lived in the house. They seemed to know who he was.

Corrected entry: During the final scare challenge, Sully changes the settings on the robotic child. There is a huge screen showing everything going on in the room, and in the next scene you can see Mike sitting by the bed where the control panel is located. Sully could not have done the changes without everyone seeing him doing it.

Micheal Anderson

Correction: We are not told WHEN Sully makes those changes and we don't know when the rooms begin airing in the live feed so this is not a mistake.

Monsters, Inc. (2001)

Corrected entry: When Sully, Mike and Boo are hiding in the bathroom stall, you can see Boo's fake eye and Sully's head peeking over it, yet, Randall can't see it, and it's not in the mirror.

Correction: They just scrunch lower as Randell moves through the restroom and down the row of stalls.

Tombstone (1993)

Corrected entry: In the early scene where Wyatt slaps Johnny Tyler, in one shot, his entire bottom lip is drenched in blood. In the next shot, there are two small blood droplets on his bottom lip.

Rexxman

Correction: We see Tyler wipe his mouth on his handkerchief.

The Heat (2013)

Corrected entry: When Shannon and Sarah first meet up with DEA agents Craig and Adam after leaving club Ekko, Sarah is wearing her "sexy" altered work clothes. As she walks away, you can see that she's wearing knee-high, spike-heeled boots. However, earlier in the day her boots had more of a chunky, sensible heel. She never changed her boots, because she had no idea Shannon would be giving her outfit a makeover.

Correction: This is not a mistake. There was time elapsed between the scenes described here and since we do not see Sarah's shoes when she enters the club, there is no way to tell what she is wearing.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Corrected entry: During the kart-baking mini-game, the countdown clock evidently changes speed for no reason while off-screen, as it takes 24 seconds to go from 0:54 to 0:42, 11 seconds to go from 0:29 to 0:15, and 5 seconds to go from 0:13 to 0:12. Altogether, this "one-minute" game of apparently continuous action lasts 1 minute and 13 seconds from "Go!" to "Time's up!" (00:49:35 - 00:50:55)

Bag of Magic Food

Correction: It just took those extra seconds to be able to show all of the action from all different perspectives so that simultaneous actions were not omitted.

Tombstone (1993)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, when The Cowboys kill the bride and groom and groomsmen, they shoot and kill all of the groomsmen. If you look closely at one who has been shot at least twice, (he starts out on his side then gets kicked on to his back by one of the other actors a few seconds later) you can see him breathing.

Correction: Just because you are shot twice, you may not die instantly. He was mortally wounded and still breathing at the time. No mistake.

MovieFan612

Corrected entry: After unloading the supplies at Fort Sedgewick, when Lt. Dunbar hands Timmons a case of supplies just before he leaves, there is only one wagon hitched up. In the following shot Timmons pulls away with two.

Correction: There is a second wagon hitched, but it can only be seen momentarily before Timmons begins riding away. No mistake here.

MovieFan612

Timmons has 2 wagons back-to-back when they are going through the dry river bed, also as leaving Ft. Sedgwick he is still towing a second wagon behind the first one.

Correction: In earlier scenes as they leave Ft Hayes, come across the skeletal remains, and then make camp for the night, two wagons hitched together pulled by a 6 mule team are seen.
