Trivia: Season, 1 episode 11, 'Hang up': At the start of this episode, since the guys at the station house must go on a call right in the middle of watching an episode of Adam 12, DeSoto and particularly Gage try to inquire about that episode's conclusion. Trivia: During the show's eleven year run, there have been many celebrities who voiced the callers on Frasier's radio talk show, but are uncredited; most phoned in their lines, instead of recording at the studio. On the DVDs, the list of each season's celebrity phone voices are noted after the season finale. Some celebrities included: Mary Tyler Moore, as Marjorie, who couldn't confront her boss; Christopher Reeve, as Leonard, an agoraphobic who was afraid of wide open spaces; Matthew Broderick, as Mark, who liked to see himself on stores' video cameras; Elijah Wood, as Ethan, who got beaten up at school for being smart, and then insulted Frasier's answer; Ben Stiller, as Barry, who couldn't stop crying long enough to even talk about his problem; Ron Howard, as Stephen, who heard people talking to him through his radio; Carrie Fisher, as Phyllis, who had insomnia (Frasier fell asleep while on air, before he heard her problem) and Frasier advised, "Things will look better in the light of day, my advice is to sleep on it."; real-life husband/wife Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas, as the married couple Larry and Sophie, who wanted a few of her girlfriends to come over on Super Bowl Sunday, but Larry refused unless Frasier was actually able to answer a football question on air; and many other enjoyable ones.

Trivia: In the pilot episode, 'The Good Son', there is a fight brewing between Martin and Frasier because Frasier wants to hear Martin actually say the words, "Thank you" to him, for accepting his father into his apartment to care for him. In the series finale, 'Goodnight, Seattle (pt 2)', when Martin hugs Frasier, Martin says, "Thank you, Frasier," to his good son.

Trivia: In the film, Pollyanna shows Reverend Ford (when he practices his fired up sermon in the field) the locket with the quotation "When you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it, you surely will," inscribed upon it and then credits the adage to Abraham Lincoln. Seeing an opportunity, Roy Disney, Walt's brother and Disney Studio CEO, had thousands of promotional lockets with those inscribed words (duplicates of Pollyanna's charm bracelet as well) produced and sent to gift shops. By a stroke of luck, while on a family trip to Disneyland, the screenwriter/director, David Swift, happened to notice the locket copies in one of the Disney gift shops and contacted Roy at the Disney Studio and told him to recall all the lockets straight away, because he deliberately fabricated the quote for the film - Abraham Lincoln never said it.

And the film's director, Edgar Wright, is seen as the store employee pushing the cart when Nicholas walks towards the manager's office.

This is not the first time these two actors play opposite each other. They played the lovable, nutty couple Tiffany "Elsie Mae" Hill and Sean Donely, on ABC's General Hospital, for many years. On the DVD commentary, Dom Monaghan remarks that while he holds the bag of heroin (really brown sugar, but hey) he's "doing a Gollum" - using Andy Serkis's portrayal of Gollum, and his desire for his "Precious" as the basis for Charlie's intense need for the drug.

Trivia: Peter Jackson's cameo in this film is in one of the biplanes attacking Kong, when he stands atop the Empire State Building. This is an homage to the director/producer cameos in the 1933 film. His co-pilot is makeup-artist Rick Baker, who portrayed Kong in the 1976 version of King Kong.

Trivia: When Carl and Preston are in the car, after stealing the reels of film, they discuss leading lady replacement possibilities. They note that "Fay" is a size 4, but Preston then says that she is already filming something for RKO. The RKO feature they refer to is the original King Kong, starring Fay Wray.
Trivia: When the children listen to a news report on the radio, in Professor Kirke's house, the voice belongs to Douglas Gresham, who is C.S. Lewis's stepson, and co-producer of the film. C.S. Lewis, author of the original novel, delivered radio addresses over the BBC during World War II.
Trivia: After the initial credits begin (since many people leave the theatre as soon as the credits appear, they miss this), there is an additional short scene between Professor Kirke and Lucy, that takes place near the wardrobe. (02:12:25)
