Jurassic Park (1993)

Jurassic Park mistake picture

Revealing mistake: While the T. Rex attacks Explorer 4, when Lex and Tim are holding the roof up with their hands and feet, in one of the interior closeups after the T. Rex has lost its tooth we can see the metal post jutting out from the dinosaur's gum, to which the fake tooth is attached in the animatronic's mouth.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Jurassic Park mistake picture

Revealing mistake: After the goat leg falls onto Explorer 4's roof, in the first shot of the T. Rex as she lifts her head to swallow the rest of the goat, when the camera tilts up the distinct outline of spray from the rain machine can be seen at the top of the screen.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Revealing mistake: While the T. Rex attacks the Explorer that Lex and Tim are in, during the stunt as the acrylic glass roof comes down on the kids in the interior shots, the strip of duct tape falls through the opening and dangles from the roof of the vehicle - presumably the tape was holding the acrylic glass roof in place before the stunt.

The One Where Heckles Dies - S2-E3

Revealing mistake: After Mr. Heckles has been taken away, in the last wideshot while everyone's still standing in the hallway, when this is viewed on the DVD (Warner Bros. S2 set) we can see a long black line on the floor (as noted in another mistake). The problem is that when this is viewed online on Netflix, even though we can see the very same area of floor, that black line has been blurred out. Weird that it wasn't edited on the DVD, and yet it was for the version available on Netflix.

Dr. Pierce and Mr. Hyde - S2-E5

Revealing mistake: After many hours in the OR Hawkeye takes a seat in the wheelchair that Radar's pushing, and when they reach the Swamp there's a wooden ramp on the ground right outside the door, which is never normally there, deliberately placed for this shot so Radar can push the wheelchair into the Swamp.

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: After Duke hears noise coming from the stairwell he locks the doors at the end of the hallway. After Duke shoots Parelli it cuts to the police firing at those locked doors, and when the doorknob blows off we can see that it's only a glued on doorknob, with no hole in the wood door, so it's impossible to have actually locked it.

Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Woody falls out of the closet wrapped in the string lights he hears Buzz's voice, and in the next shot as Woody sneaks up to Hannah's room we see Sid's open door and doorway, which looks perfectly normal. However, after Woody rescues Buzz from Hannah's tea party they both stop in the hallway, and there's another shot of Sid's open door and doorway, only this time it's not normal to say the least. Five of the six hasps, bolts, and locks that should be (and normally are) screwed into and attached to the inside of Sid's door (one hasp mechanism, third one down from the top, is attached to the door's frame) are now actually kind of floating there in mid-air right beside the doorway, as if there's an invisible door there. Weird that Pixar artists deliberately did this, but it's bizarrely funny to see.

Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Woody grabs hold of Buzz and uses his "karate chop action" while they walk backwards to the open door, as Woody says, "Sorry guys, dinner's canceled," in the wideshot of all of Sid's toys pay attention to the chair and table at the right side of the screen. What we're supposed to be seeing is the swivel chair with four legs/wheels (and the red toolbox resting on the seat) that's positioned in front of the table's angled wood two-by-four legs. But we don't see that. What we do see is the swivel chair and table all blended together - the seat and legs of the chair are somehow behind both sets of table legs and the chair's backrest is in front of the table, which doesn't make any sense.

Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story mistake picture

Revealing mistake: After Sid runs off with Buzz yelling, "To infinity and beyond," when Woody begs Sid's toys on behalf of Buzz and says, "There's a good toy...he's gonna be blown to bits...we gotta save him, but I need your help," in the next wideshot of the bedroom the green carpet's outer edge around the room is bright white below the brown baseboards - Pixar didn't digitally complete it with color.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: I've seen a few of these listed as errors, but they're not. A lot of shows do this often if you pay attention. It's called "product displacement", and it is done to avoid being sued or having to pay licensing fees. Also, it is cheaper to alter logos like this than pixelate/blur them out. What is interesting though, is that one of the grape nut boxes in this picture does not have an altered logo.

Yes, it's product displacement, and this is specifically referred to as the "greeking" process. However, your correction only offers an excuse as to why this occurs. The tape or paint partially or fully covering the brand names or logos are a distraction, and it removes viewers from the fake reality of the show or movie. Originally, these types of submissions were to be listed in trivia, but instead they were placed in the mistake section.

A Night at Rosie's - S7-E23

Revealing mistake: During the melee at Rosie's, after Klinger gets his money and jewelry back from the cheats a guy is thrown through windows, and though we hear the sound of smashing glass we see the shreds of plastic fluttering.

Peace on Us - S7-E2

Revealing mistake: When Colonel Potter's in the Swamp telling Hawkeye, BJ, and Charles that surgeons' rotation points have increased from 36 to 45 Hawkeye becomes incensed, and in these two shots from this angle we can see the edge of the Swamp set at the top, left corner of the screen.

The Smell of Music - S6-E15

Revealing mistake: When Margaret whistles for the "third wave" she places Winchester's French horn on the ground, and there are three shots facing the jeep as it closes in on the horn - in the first two shots the horn's normal, but in the last shot the horn's already semi-squashed before the jeep even runs over it.

Ernest T. Bass Joins the Army - S4-E3

Revealing mistake: When Barney picks Andy up and they get back to the courthouse, they find Ernest T out of the jail cell again and breaking more windows, and in the shot of Ernest T leaping in the air we see it's actually a flipped shot - note the backwards "snack bar" in the window (that store is later when Ernest T tries to break the new glass for the courthouse).

Barney Fife, Realtor - S5-E16

Revealing mistake: While Barney's explaining to Andy his new interest in realty they both walk to the back room, and just as they pass through the doorway the camera tracks too far to the left, so we can see the edge of the set wall and the rest of the back wall is missing. (The following shot is from the direction of that missing wall).

Aunt Bee's Invisible Beau - S5-E27

Revealing mistake: When Clara and Aunt Bee are talking in the kitchen, in the closeups facing Aunt Bee we see the counter, the cabinet, and the wall, but what we don't see are the curtains, the window, or the windowsill, which all should be on that wall. The fake window wasn't placed on the set wall for Bee's closeup.
