Continuity mistake: The handcuff with the broken chain that is stuck on Juni's wrist, actually changes its position to the opposite way, while on the same wrist, in some shots the single bar faces out and in others the double bar faces out. For example, when Juni speaks into his watch and says, "I'm toast!" the double bar faces out, yet in the park when Juni spins as robo-Carmen approaches him, the single bar faces out. Revealing mistake: When Ajax first arrives on Troy's shores an arrow penetrates his right thigh. The darker skinned latex material surrounding his thigh is perfectly distinguishable from his own light skin in the wide shots. Then after he breaks off part of the arrow, the rest which remains in his thigh disappears in consecutive shots. (00:42:35)

Visible crew/equipment: After Harry climbs up the side of Salazar Slytherine's stone head in the Chamber of Secrets, the first time the Basilisk slams his face into the stone in the wide shot, the bottom of a crew member's denim pant leg and shoe are bizarrely visible lying on a work surface, beneath the stone head's beard. Continuity mistake: In the first exterior shot through the back patio door, as the Dursleys eat, the kitchen window and patio set below are visibly quite far from the white patio enclosure. Later, when Vernon falls to the ground as Marge floats away, Petunia runs to him and now the kitchen window, on a supposed brick wall, is actually right beside the white patio enclosure. Adding to the absurdity, the entire house is in the opening shot of the film and that middle part of the wall is conspicuously missing. Additionally, even the bricks and stone top of the seat wall between the tiled patio and grass have changed. (00:05:35)

Visible crew/equipment: After Carmen uses Machete Bubbles to shock the four Thumb Thumbs, she and Juni drop down on the wires. A pair of hands are actually visible at Carmen's back, as she begins her descent, but they were alone up there! (01:02:10)
Visible crew/equipment: Jack is in one of the boats with Norrington and his men, at Isla de Muerta. Norrington looks through the telescope, saying that he doesn't care for the situation and in the wide shot, when Jack says, "Not if you're the one doing the ambushing," in the water, to the right of the boat, a crew member's green flipper can be seen coming up out of the water. The divers kept the boats steady while filming. (01:43:05)

Continuity mistake: In the Chamber, when Harry runs from the Basilisk he ends up at a gated dead end, with steel bars that are embedded in a circular stone wall. When Harry crouches down, as the Basilisk's face nears, the manner in which the bars are embedded in the stone is actually quite different. (02:11:00)

Continuity mistake: At Orca's bow, the hole in the steel hull beside its number, is oval shape. However, after Quint is gone, when the ship begins to sink, and later when Hooper surfaces beside the wreckage of the bow, the shape of the hole in the steel hull is completely different! The white water stain lines change throughout the shots as well. (01:25:00 - 02:01:10)

Continuity mistake: When Brody waits to board the ferry he says, "Charlie, take me over to those kids, will ya," and there's a painted board with 'Amity' attached to the ferry base. However, when they reach the other ferry landing the board with 'Amity' is gone, in sloshing water (even more visible in a deleted scene). It's the same side of the ferry, note the ferry Captain is stationed at the permanent helm at only one side. The short haul Chappy Ferry On Time scow was the stand-in for the fictitious Amity ferry. Continuity mistake: Juliet arrives at Mark's flat and brings banoffee pie with her, wanting to see the wedding video. She slips the video into the VCR and places the open pastry box on top of the TV stand. As she takes her jacket off the pastry box is gone, yet in the next shot of the TV the box is right next to the remote, which then changes position in the last shot when the remote disappears. The TV is in the center of the stand in some shots, but to the left of the stand in other shots. The video cassettes, etc., change/alter their position within these shots as well. (00:53:10)

Continuity mistake: After Hector, Paris and Helen arrive home, when Hector hugs Priam and Andromache, there are at least six small gold clasps at the back of Hector's hair, yet when Hector kisses Briseis, the large one differs and all the small clasps are gone. (00:29:35)

Continuity mistake: When Hector stabs Menelaus, in the close-up the tip of the blade protrudes at his back a few inches to the right of the second circular design, under the shoulder flap. However, when Hector pulls the blade out, the tip of the blade is directly in the center of the circular decorative design. (01:16:50)

Continuity mistake: In the first exterior shot looking through the Dursley's patio doors, as they have dinner, and later when Vernon runs after Marge, the threshold is wide, flat and all white. Below the glass on the doors the trim is narrow and at the very bottom it is wide. There is a keyhole opening (on the left door) under a particular style door handle and there is a wide double lip going round the entire edge of the left door. When Petunia runs out, the threshold is higher up and mostly brick, with a thin strip of white in the middle. The style of the patio doors under the glass is completely different, there is no keyhole, the handle style differs and there is no double lip on the door. Additionally, the large clay pots with plants, beside the doors, change from being glazed and shiney to being unglazed, its plants differ and things change position. (00:02:00 - 00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: Between the shots of Marge floating out of the house and later when Petunia runs to Vernon on the grass, there are many significant changes. The short brick walls that edge the Dursley garden are actually different bricks, different grout and are even aligned differently between these shots. The bushes along the wood fence are at least 2-3 ft away from the corner bricks in the first shots, but in the last shot are aligned with the corner. The height of those bushes go from being way above the top of the wood fence to being at least a foot below. In the first shots there are small metal plaques that are attached along the top of the wood fence, but in the last shot they are gone. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: The colours on the dial of the freezer Frank goes in changes between shots. When Lucy turns it down you can see the colours are light and dark blue. Later on in the wider shots and when she tries to open the door and Milton Dammers stops her, you can see it's blue and red.

Continuity mistake: When Quint goes below deck to get the machete, with the intent to cut the barrel lines, the machete he takes is shiny and clean, with no rust or pit marks at all. Yet, when Quint holds it over his head and then embeds it into the side of the boat, the entire blade is rusty and full of pit marks. (01:44:40)

Continuity mistake: Quint remarks, "Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him." In the shot of Orca's stern, just prior to this comment, the two attached yellow barrels are very worn, with many black marks all over. Yet, in the shot right after, both yellow barrels are almost entirely yellow - quick paint job. Throughout the Orca scenes the marks on all the barrels change many times in consecutive shots. Continuity mistake: After Ajax's death, when Agamemnon shouts, "Forward!" as they charge, Agamemnon's two horses have very distinctive white markings on their faces. Then when Agamemnon and Odysseus (on the same chariot) retreat, after the cheering of Trojan royalty, in the close-up as Odysseus shouts, "Back to the ships!" the white markings are entirely different, and now both horses are actually wearing blinkers on their bridles to cover their eyes. Continuity mistake: Aboard the Jolly Roger, in the very next shot after Smee jumps overboard, Peter twirls his sword in mid-air and catches the hilt. This is not the same sword he uses in the previous or following shots. This sword doesn't have the gold hand guard, so as to be able to catch it easily. The hilt on Peter's sword is in the shape of a leaf and the hand guard is the leaf stem. (01:24:50)

Continuity mistake: At Hagrid's, when Harry, Ron and Hermione are there the first time in the film, there is a large birdcage, blue cup and saucer, watering can and small wood planter (with seedlings) on the windowsill. Later, when Hermione throws the first stone, as the stone flies through the window the watering can and blue cup's positions differ and the wood planter and large birdcage are gone. When she throws the second stone they are back on the windowsill. (01:24:05 - 01:52:20)
