Question: At the end of the movie was a dedication to a man, I believe the name was Randy Stone or something. Does anyone know who that is?

Answer: Randy Stone was Head of Casting at 20th Century Fox Television and part-time actor. When Chris Carter created the X-Files, it was Randy who cast Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny as the leads, Agents Scully and Mulder. A few years later, Randy's connection to Chris Carter continued with Carter's new creation Millennium, which he also cast. Randy was 48 when he died suddenly in February of 2007.

Friends (1994)

Answer: That would be the very first episode of Friends, "The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate", when Joey tells Rachel that he's an actor, and Chandler makes fun of Joey's stint in a production of Pinocchio.

Question: Why doesn't Voldemort, Sirius, or anybody else just apparate into the Department of Mysteries, take the prophecy, and apparate out?

Answer: Whether or not one can apparate into the Department of Mysteries is irrelevant in the film, because even if Voldemort were to come face to face with the Prophecy Orb, he still would be unable to summon its Prophecy, for only the subject of the Prophecy is able to acquire it, which in this case is Harry and Voldemort. Voldemort is not ready to let the wizarding world know he is alive yet and waltzing into the Ministry of Magic is too risky. That is why tricking Harry is so critical to Voldemort's plan.

Question: Why are the flags on the soldiers' uniforms backwards? They're American flags, but the stars are on the right hand side of the flags. Was the scene just flipped post-shooting or is there some other reason?

Answer: According to the Department of Defense website, the flag, when worn as a patch, should be placed on the sleeve so that the flag gives the impression as if it is flying in the breeze, as the person wearing the patch moves forward. That means the blue/white field of stars should be in the forward position with the stripes trailing. That is why there are "left" patches and "right" patches made for the left and right sleeves. It is only the "right" sleeve patches that appear backwards when seen on the uniform's right sleeve.

Question: Is the first telmarine who agrees to go through the two trees at the end the same guy who assassinates Miraz with an arrow?

Answer: The one who stabs Miraz with the arrow is one of the Lords that promises support when Miraz is ordained King. He dies on the bridge (that the Telmarines built) when Aslan causes the waters to 'come alive'. The Telmarine who walks through the 'doorway' (to the world of men) with Miraz's wife and their infant son is Miraz's General. Earlier in the film, Miraz ordered this General to kill three of his men (after the Narnians stole the weapons), and during Miraz and Peter's duel Miraz ordered him to kill Peter if the dueling was not going in Miraz's favor, but the General chose not to. On the field, during the last battle, the General had an opportunity to kill Caspian, and again he chose not to.

Question: Whose house was it? The mother mentioned she was not the lady of the house. Was she a caretaker?

Answer: When Captain Hamilton and his troop first arrive he is greeted at the front door by Mrs. MacMorrow, Kirstie and Angus. He then says, "The housekeeper, Mrs. MacMorrow, is making all the arrangements," whereupon he realizes HQ failed to notify her of their arrival. Then Mrs. MacMorrow says, "When Lord Killin went off to the RAF, only a few of us stayed on here...I'm afraid I really would need Lord Killin's permission." Later it is also made clear that the shed (where Angus hangs out and Lewis Mowbray stays) was used by his father, who was a caretaker on Lord Killin's estate.

Enchanted (2007)

Question: It's obvious that both Giselle and Edward know that jumping back into the sewer will get them back to where they came from, so why doesn't Giselle jump back in right away when she is first tossed into New York?

Answer: Obviously, Giselle didn't know. She was shoved into the wishing well by the hag and had no idea what had happened to her. Edward, being familiar with his stepmother's magic, was better prepared.

Roseanne (1988)

Show generally

Question: In the episode where Leon gets married, Dan says at the end that Leon and Scott are "having it out" or something like that. Roseanne says that they're just "two people of the same gender going at it". Then a woman sits down behind her and Roseanne says "Hi there". Then the audience roars in laughter and applause. I don't get it. What's the joke?

Answer: The woman who sits down is Sharon, who was Nancy's girlfriend in "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (season 6) and is played by Mariel Hemingway. In that infamous episode, Sharon kissed Roseanne on the mouth. She returns in "December Bride" (season 8) and makes a brief, but very funny, appearance at Leon and Scott's wedding. You may also be interested in Milton Berle's "drag" cameo, as he catches the bouquet. On Berle's TV show, back in the 40's and 50's, his skits in drag became his trademark.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)

Question: In the scene where Balian arrives at Jerusalem, at the peak where Jesus was crucified, as he sits there, is there a strange shadow of a man crossing in the background or did I see wrong?

Answer: When Balian thinks to himself, "God, what is it you want of me?" in the next shot it is not a "strange shadow" of just one man, there are a few people who walk from left to right or right to left. The cinematographic effects of this specific shot gives an ethereal quality to the movements of these people.

Casper (1995)

Question: What was the treasure? Because Casper says its just his baseball bat and glove, but then what does the note at the beginning mean that Carrigan and Dibbs find when the deed is thrown in the fire? Because it talks of treasure but its really only a baseball.

Answer: It was not Casper (now a ghost of 12 yr old boy) who wrote there was a hidden treasure at Whipstaff Manor. It was Casper's father, Mr. Mcfadden. The treasure in the box is an autographed baseball which used to belong to Casper, before he got sick and died. Mr. McFadden missed his young son Casper, so he invented a machine that can bring a ghost back to life. He considered Casper's baseball a treasure, because to him it is the greatest treasure there is - the baseball that belonged to his 12 yr old son before he died.

Super Grover

Answer: A machine that could bring dead people's ghosts back to life would be worth trillions of dollars. And that's why It was kept "secret" and hidden away from the rest of the world.

Question: Does anyone know where I can get the script for the "table scene" or a listing of the dialogue?

T Poston

Chosen answer: A dialogue transcript can be found here, though cast names are not included: Nutty Professor Script Transcript.
