Audio problem: When Lady Elizabeth complains about the king coming to visit, Sir Thomas says, "That's easy for you to say you've had position and wealth all your life," and she replies, "Until I married you Thomas." When the camera faces Sir Thomas we hear Lady Elizabeth say, "And I was happy to give it up for love," but her lips do not move while saying this.

Mary Boleyn: How can you show your face in here? My own sister... take care, because he would only do to you what he has done to me.
Anne Boleyn: You should not have given yourself so lightly, these are the consequences.
Mary Boleyn: I gave myself to a man I loved, and he loved me.
Anne Boleyn: A man's love is worthless. Our mother's loved, look where it got her, a feeble husband. Love is of no value without power and position. If I gave the king a son, he would not be a bastard.

Question: At the end of the movie, it states that Mary married William Stafford, but wasn't she still married to William Carey (even though the king sent him away)?

Answer: Mary was married twice. Her first husband, William Carey, died in 1528. She secretly married William Stafford, a commoner, in 1534. Her family disapproved of the match, and the couple lived out their lives in the country, away from the royal court.
