Saw IV
Movie Quote Quiz

Eric Mathews: I don't want to play anymore.

Jigsaw: Hello Brenda. I want to play a game. An officer will try to save you. If he is successful, then your game begins. This man will use these photos to sentence you for your crimes and the only way to stop him is tapped underneath the TV. Let him save your life, and accept your fate to rot in prison, or kill him... and guarentee your freedom. Make your choice.

Cecil: 'the fuck's your problem?
Jigsaw: You're my problem.
Jigsaw: ...and you're becoming everyone else's too.

Cecil: I'm bleedin' man.

Art: I recommend you stay alive until the fucking clock counts down.

Jigsaw: It's the tool, that's going to save your soul.
Cecil: I don't have a fucking soul.

Jigsaw: "Cherish your life" is the motto this whole organization is built on. Cherish your life... your life.

Jigsaw: Officer Rigg, Your first test. The person in front of you is in desperate need of help. But it is not your job to save them. You view this person as a victim but if you will SEE what I SEE beneath the mask lies a criminal undeserving of the life she leads. Your obsession tells you to save the victim. I tell you, to walk away. The choice is yours.

Agent Strahm: We're here to find the person helping Jigsaw and Amanda Young.

Tracy: What you can't do, is save everyone.

Eric Mathews: Don't open the door.

Jigsaw: I can assure you detective, my games have just begun.

Cecil: Woah! Wh-what the fuck is that?
Jigsaw: It's the tool that's going to save your life. I want to play a game. You just lean foward into the knives with your face. Press hard enough and you'll release the arm and the leg restraints that bind you. Press hard though. Live or die, Cecil. Make your choice.

Hoffman: Game over.

Jigsaw: I promise that my work will continue.

Jigsaw: You think it is over, but the games have just begun.

Hoffman: Everyone around him keeps dying.

Jill: Do you know anything about the Chinese Zodiac?
Agent Strahm: No, Jill. No.
Jill: I didn't just get pregnant. It was carefully planned. Everything with John was.

Cecil: It's you! You did this to me.
Jigsaw: No, you did this to yourself.

Other mistake: In Saw II, Jigsaw shares a story with Detective Matthews about how he attempted suicide after his cancer diagnosis by driving his car off a cliff. We then see Jigsaw pulling a metal rod out of the left side of his stomach. However, no puncture wound/scarring is visible on Jigsaw's stomach when his autopsy is being performed. (00:00:50)

Trivia: When Officer Rigg is walking through the school, before he finds Morgan and Rex in the rod trap, he walks by a dark room blocked off with police-barrier-tape. Originally, there was a scene that revealed this was the room where Troy from "Saw III" died, but it was cut, presumably for pacing reasons.

Question: A tape recorded by John directed toward agent Perez states that her partner would soon take the life of an innocent man. How did John know that agent Strahm would kill Jeff? For all he knows, Strahm could have followed Rigg through the factory rather than Jeff. The "if you're good at anticipating the human mind, it leaves nothing to chance" excuse doesn't work here. The only reason Strahm followed Jeff was because he heard Jeff hit a ceiling light with a crowbar.

Answer: Realistically there is no way he could have known. The writers were just working backwards from the plot point on this one.
