Continuity mistake: In the scene when the Sherminator is talking with Matt after returning from band camp, Matt is wearing a purple shirt. But when Matt asks if "everyone hated his brother", in the reflection of the star trophy on the desk, you can see Matt's reflection, and he is wearing the orange and black striped shirt from the earlier scene where the Sherminator sends him to band camp. Clearly the two scenes were cut together. (01:21:50)
Continuity mistake: Towards the middle of the film, Matt is doused with water from a girl he's trying to hit on. The water pattern changes between shots on his shirt. In one scene his right shoulder and part of his chest is wet; then his entire shirt is wet; then back to the shoulder being wet. (00:17:30)
Factual error: Matt marches on the field with the triangle, however the triangle is part of the pit, and therefore wouldn't have been part of the field show.
Continuity mistake: In the pool, Matt's hair goes from wet to dry numerous times. (00:59:00)
Factual error: When Matt Stiffler gets himself stuck in the oboe, it's not actually an oboe - it's an English horn. Both are double reed instruments, but the English horn is larger.

Continuity mistake: Matt is shown that the picture is deleted off the mobile phone and the laptop is showing the desktop. Camera cuts to Matt and you can see his hands the entire time. The camera cuts to a different angle and the laptop has changed to the a countdown. (01:06:40)
Continuity mistake: When playing the trivia game, the girl in the middle of the 3 who take their tops off, has taken hers off completely. The camera cuts to the "Hat-cam" and she is taking it off over her head again. (00:20:20)
Continuity mistake: When Matt first spots the robot and chases it into the closet, there is no one in the closet. But instantly Matt's roommate appears in there. (00:29:00)
Factual error: When Matt plays "Play That Funky Music" in the duel, we hear him play notes that are far below the range of actual bagpipes. Pipes have a range of only an octave plus a tone.
Continuity mistake: When Matt comes out of the office with beer he has white socks on. When he is in the office with Jim's dad, he hasn't got socks on. He wouldn't take them off as they are the only clothes he has at that time. (00:22:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When Stifler has just got the postcard from Steve, he holds the dildo and you can see the stage lights and film crew reflected on it. (00:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When Chloe is inviting Matt to her room, there is a shot from over Matt's shoulder and there are two bottles of water next to Matt's grape juice drink. In the angle facing Chloe, Elyse and Matt the bottles aren't there.
Continuity mistake: In The Sherminator's office at the start, a blue cup is on his desk. When he stands up and starts the speech about Matt having continued Steven's legacy, the cup has disappeared. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: Matt's shoes change from when he arrives at Band Camp and when he goes to see what the noise is; they change colour and type, from black to white. (00:10:30)
Continuity mistake: When the curtain falls and show Matt washing himself in the fountain, Elyse's hands go up in the air. Next shot they are by her side. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: When the band is playing at Robard's, Matt's bagpipes are in his hands or on the floor depending on the shot. (01:22:00)

Continuity mistake: Near the start when Matt has sprayed himself with pepper-spray, Elyse's stand is knocked over. Then in another shot it's back up again. (00:06:30)
