Elizabethtown

Factual error: Near the end of the movie a fire accidentally starts in the center of the ballroom. It activates a fire sprinkler but every other sprinkler also activates. Fire sprinklers are activated by heat so only the one(s) nearest the fire would have activated.

Wayne C.

Factual error: In the scene where Drew begins his road trip to Elizabethtown, you see him traveling across a bridge into the city of Louisville. Elizabethtown is located south of Louisville as is the airport. Unless he was already lost, there's no way that he would have traveled that particular route. (The scene was obviously used to highlight the city in the movie).

Continuity mistake: After his father's funeral, when Drew turns on the ignition and in following shots, the leather band that he wears on his right wrist (not the watch) is clasped with its strap facing his thumb, yet when he passes the sign for 60B, the band goes round the opposite way. Then, when he listens to The Hombres the leather band is flipped back, but when he picks up Global Business Today magazine it's switched yet again, and so on. (01:43:00)

Drew Baylor: No true fiasco ever began as a quest for mere adequacy. A motto of the British Special Air Force is: 'Those who risk, win.' A single green vine shoot is able to grow through cement. The Pacific Northwestern salmon beats itself bloody on it's quest to travel hundreds of miles upstream against the current, with a single purpose, sex of course, but also... life.

Trivia: The rain in the cemetery scene with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst was not in the original script. Director Cameron Crowe decided to shoot the scene in the rain, because it looked more natural.
