Team America: World Police

Question: Does anyone know what the joke is about Matt Damon always calling out his name? Is it supposed to be a reference to something?

Answer: I read an interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone where they said that they had not intended for it to be that way but that when they made the Matt Damon puppet, it looked so retarded that they thought it would be funny to just have him be retarded in the movie and only say his name. They said it was nothing personal against Matt Damon.

Question: In which part(s) of the movie is the Kill Bill music (battle without honour or humanity) played?

Answer: Without giving a timecode, I can tell you that it's during the third act, when Team America has already been freed from their prison cells (in North Korea), and are fighting through the F.A.G. defenses.

Question: What footage was cut from the original but was added in the Uncut DVD?

Answer: The sex scene was toned down for the theatrical release.

Phixius

Question: Will there be a sequel to Team America, because the ending seemed so open?

Answer: Trey Parker and Matt Stone said that there will never be a sequel and they will probably never do that kind of film again because it was too difficult.

Dr Wilson

Question: Why is the guy with the yellow glasses always wearing them?

Answer: The easy explanation: Because the doll was made with non-removable glasses. The advanced explanation: Probably because he thinks they look cool and he is very concerned with his cool-American-hero-image.

Twotall

Question: What political party do Matt and Trey affiliate themselves with, and is it known who they supported in the '04 election?

Answer: When asked about what group they associated themselves with they replied, "I think we're like most people, just down the middle with our personal political affiliation". As for the '04 election I don't believe they supported either publically.

Question: I know that the musical being called 'Lease' is a reference to 'Rent', but what's the joke behind the song being called 'Everyone has AIDS'?

Moose

Chosen answer: The musical "Rent" is based on the opera "La Boheme" in which the main character Mimi dies of consumption (tuberculosis). In the updated story for "Rent", the disease is AIDS rather than TB. Several characters in Rent have AIDS or are HIV positive.

Myridon

Visible crew/equipment: In the Paris opening, lighting reflections are visible in the windows, and on the roofs and bonnets of the cars.
