The Stepford Wives

Walter only pretends to change Joanna into a robot. At the big formal dance, Joanna distracts Mike while Walter sneaks to the basement to "deprogram" all the women. They all turn on their husbands, and it is revealed that Mike is a robot, but his wife is not, it was all her idea to make women perfect so their lives could be easier. Walter and Joanna stay married. Bobbie writes a book, and Roger wins his Senate race.
