Mark Davis: Somebody please wake me up! Please.
Lori Campbell: Hey. Gibb, what are you doing? I thought you were gonna quit.
Gibb: I only smoke when I drink now.
Kia Waterson: But you're always drinking.
Gibb: Yeah, well, I'll work on that next.
Freddy Krueger: Man the torpedoes.
Mark Davis: Do you want me to start having nightmares again?
Will Rollins: Don't start with that dream demon shit again. OK? You know that's all just in your head.
Mark Davis: Yeah, yeah, and who are you, the poster boy for sanity?
Deputy Scott Stubbs: This Jason Voorhees supposedly drowned at Camp Crystal Lake back in 1957 when he was 11-years old. The counselors weren't watching him. Then they made the mistake of killing his mother. Now legend has it that Jason kept returning from his grave to punish whoever returned to the Camp.
Blake: My best friend was just killed, Dad! So how about giving me some fucking space?
Kia Waterson: Do you guys thing I should get a nose job?
Lori Campbell: Oh, my God.
Gibb: Oh, please. Kia, what you need is a lobotomy.
Shack: This ever-clear is kicking my ass.
Kia Waterson: Oh, God, y'all, two killers? We're not safe awake or asleep.
Answer: This is one of those questions where we'll probably never know the real reason because different people involved have different stories as to why Kirzinger was picked over Holder. Holder himself has said he doesn't know why he didn't reprise the role, especially since he was told he would and was given a script. Some accounts say Yu wanted Jason to tower over Freddy and Kirzinger is 2" taller than Holder. One of the casting directors said Yu thought Holder's version of Jason was too campy. Meanwhile, Yu said it was New Line Cinema's decision to recast Holder because they want to change the direction of the film and used this film as a reboot of the series.
