Trivia: Mulan's spoken voice is provided by Ming-Na Wen, Dr. Jing-Mei Chen on "ER". Mulan's singing voice is provided by Lea Salonga, who has also been on "ER".

Trivia: Directors Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook both have cameo appearances in the film. They appear in the tower of fireworks when Mushu tells them that he needs fire power.

Trivia: In the scene where Mulan is revealed to be a woman after the avalanche, the symbol on the tent and on the doctor's case is a very ancient Chinese symbol for a doctor (like the caduceus and the red cross in Western culture) and NOT the flag of Japan. Revealed in the Audio Commentary on the 15th Anniversary Edition DVD.

Trivia: In Sweden Mulan's name is spelled with an accent over the a, Mulán. This because "mulan" is Swedish for "the mule" and they didn't want people to think of a mule when they saw the title of the movie.

Trivia: When Mulan is in the burned down city, she walks though a curtain door, behind her there is a stone wall with soot on it and there is a "Hidden Mickey" there.

Other mistake: When Crickie is typing the letter for Mushu he has ink on his feet yet when he jumps on the table to wipe off his feet there aren't any ink footprints where his foot was.
