Trivia: The police officer in Stan Makita's Donut Shop is named Koharski, in reference to NHL Referee Don Koharksi. After poorly officiating game 3 of the 1988 playoff series between the Devils and Bruins, Devils coach Jim Shoenfeld and Koharsky argued on the way to the dressing rooms. Koharsky fell and told Shoenfeld he'd be suspended for pushing him, and that it was all on film. Shoenfeld said, "Good, cause you tripped and fell you fat pig, have another donut.". All this was shown on ESPN.
Trivia: When Wayne plays "Stairway To Heaven" in the music shop, he is then stopped and says "No stairway". The filmmakers actually tried to get the song played in the movie but were denied, so this is just a little nudge at them in this scene. I think Mike Myers mentions this on the commentary on the DVD.

Trivia: Mike Myers actually played the first few notes of "Stairway to Heaven" in the theatrical release. The director's later found out that playing even a few notes of the song would require special permission from the band, which they did not have. As such, all VHS and DVD copies have been dubbed over with the ending riff to "We Will Rock You" by Queen. They sound similar, and the producers hoped viewers wouldn't know the difference.
Trivia: Noah's commercial for Noah's Arcade has the video game "Sonic The Hedgehog" in the background, which was released on the Sega Genesis, and is not an "arcade" game. This is a deliberate pun as to just how clueless Noah Vanderhoff is to the video game market.
Trivia: During the 'Terminator 2' parody scene with Robert Patrick as the T-1000 Terminator, the song "Time Machine" can be heard in the background. Answer: You presumably haven't seen Terminator 2. The actor playing the cop is Robert Patrick, who played the shape-shifting T-1000 in that movie, who masqueraded as a policeman for most of the film. The T-1000's mission was to track down and terminate a boy - hence the "have you seen this boy" line that he says to Wayne.
