Factual error: As Bond is preparing for the HALO skydive, he is warned that he has to freefall for 5 miles, and without oxygen, he will be asphyxiated. However, he jumps from a non-pressurized aircraft. Surely, when the back hatch opened, the other people standing around would either also start to suffocate or be sucked out.

The British and Chinese fleets receive Bond's communique, but don't believe it. Meanwhile, on the stealth boat, Bond rescues the Chinese agent, and creates an explosion, causing the ship to come up on radar. The two fleets then decide to attack the stealth boat. Bond kills Carver by using the torpedo with circular saws. Stamper catches the Chinese agent. Stamper and Bond fight, as she drowns underwater. He plants the explosives and destroys the ship. Bond frees the agent and gives her the kiss of life. A rescue boat finds Bond and the agent in a dinghy, kissing.

Trivia: After Teri Hatcher's character has been murdered, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) shoots dead her killer (Vincent Schiavelli). When he does so, the expended bullet cartridge ejects very, very quickly and hits Brosnan squarely on the forehead.

Chosen answer: According to the script, the other jet is hit by the two heat-seeking missiles it had previously fired, although that's not very clear in the film and it looks like it explodes when hit by the co-pilot.
