Revealing mistake: When Marin and Jack Nicholson first enter her mother's house, Marin is wearing white pants, and it is noticeable that she has a thong on. When she gets into bed with Jack, she is in full underwear.
Revealing mistake: A quick mistake happens when Brenda and the girl crawling out of the TV get in a fight. Brenda throws the punch, the other girl falls over, and for a quick second her dress flies up too far and you can see where the makeup (that makes her look dead) on her legs end and you can see her real thigh. Revealing mistake: When the Black Pearl swings alongside the Interceptor for the battle, Elizabeth shouts, "Fire all!" The next shot is from behind the lit cannon which is aimed at the Pearl and the following shot faces the Interceptor's cannon, as it goes off. In the shot facing the Interceptor, the raw wood scaffolding type beams are perfectly visible at the entire lower part of the screen, where the painted planks (below the gun ports, above the bilges) of the hull should be. Revealing mistake: When Syd and the Haitians are running, there is one shot where skid marks are visible on the road in the exact place the Haitians skid. (00:27:40)
Revealing mistake: When Cody is on the jet ski inside the evil guy's hideout, he smashes through some glass. The glass smashes before the jet ski even touches it.
Revealing mistake: In the scene with the accident, the car already has bumper damage just before it hits the pole. (00:21:00)
Revealing mistake: When Sarah is leaning over Tom to speak to Yuan on the intercom at the McNerney gate, Yuan is looking at the monitor in the kitchen. The monitor shows the car and there is a person wearing a white shirt sitting in the passenger seat of Tom's car. It can't be Sarah, who was sitting in the passenger seat, but now is leaning over Tom in the driver's seat, plus she is wearing a red coat. (00:03:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jack and Adam are in bed together, after Jack's "flatulent" moment, Adam tries to keep from laughing while answering Jack's question. The blanket covering Adam's face is obviously covering up an hysterical set moment.
Revealing mistake: Lizzie has black nail polish and the same size of nails throughout the entire movie. Supposedly, Lizzie and Isabella are different people. But, when Isabella comes back, you can see she has the same color nail polish and the same size of nails as Lizzie. I don't think it's just a coincidence.
Revealing mistake: In the "Players Party," as Mays Gilliam is giving a speech, behind him is an extra mouthing his lines. (00:36:55)
Revealing mistake: Just after Madison says to the Angels, "Looks like one of the three amigos has gone adios" and Drew gets thrown by Madison, Drew hits the wall. For some reason, the camera vibrates.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Harry and Lloyd first meet by running into each other, when it shows it in slow motion, you can see Lloyd brace for an impact when he's not suppose to know Harry is coming.
Revealing mistake: Any time that Charlie is kicked by the kangaroo, they show him falling back onto the ground. But, if you look closely, they just used the same shot over and over. The exact same two lines in the dirt are to his left by his head each time.
Revealing mistake: When the policemen are pursuing the Santa Claus gang in their Bigfoot, one of the police cars has 5 people in it. It falls in a pool and there are only 2 people, and if you watch closely, they are dummies. (00:37:30)
Revealing mistake: At the start of the hearse chase, when we first see the bad guys pull a hand-brake turn through 90 degrees in a small London side-street, if you look on the ground you can see the skid marks from what must have been the previous take.
Revealing mistake: In the middle of the scene where it shows what the class does throughout the week, Dewey is shown playing a bass guitar with no strings. (00:50:00)
Revealing mistake: When Penny is launched out of the truck, she is supposed to be screaming, but it is apparent that she is smiling and laughing during the shot. (01:14:05)
Revealing mistake: In the sequence in which Antoine Sartain throws a flare to set fire to the car with the two dead bodies, you can see it hit the floor from the left, but the fire comes from a complete different angle. (00:22:50)
Revealing mistake: When Mr. Kubitz arrives at the house and finds Phil with makeup on, a car is driving by in the background. A few seconds go by before the shot goes back to Mr. Kubitz - plenty of time for the car to have driven out of shot. But when Mr. Kubitz is shown at the doorway again, the car is still there, driving along.
Revealing mistake: In the overhead view of the bus driving across the desert to Camp Greenlake the dust behind the bus is CG, and near the end of the scene the bus moves up in the frame and the end of the dust trail cuts off with a straight line.
