Trivia: Never in Oscar Wilde's story was Dorian Gray invincible, as is depicted in the film. Nor did looking upon his picture kill him. Dorian regularly stood in front of the painting, observing the degradation of his soul. He was only killed when he tried to destroy the picture.

Star Trek: Insurrection picture

Trivia: In the end credits, an actor is credited as playing Young Ruafo. There are no scenes in the film which this character appears, this is a scene cut from the film, but they forgot to erase the credit. The explanation is that young Ruafo was filmed in the original Insurrection ending, before producers decided on a different (more action based) death for Ruafo and so had him burn on the exploding ship.

X-Men 3 picture

Trivia: The combat simulation the X-Men are running on their first appearance in the film features the dread Sentinel robots. Originally, these were meant to appear in the second movie already, but the idea was scrapped. The simulation also bears a close reference to the parallel comic storyline and later movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, where the Sentinels rebelled against humanity, killed most of Earth's superheroes and erected a totalitarian regime in the US.

Hollow Man picture

Trivia: A scene in which Sebastian brutally and graphically rapes his neighbor was filmed, but was mostly deleted as test-audiences felt it made Sebastian far too evil. And thus, the version of the scene in the theatrical cut only alludes to the idea without directly showing it. The original scene was reinstated in the director's cut released on DVD and Blu-Ray however.

Tremors picture

Trivia: Reportedly, star Kevin Bacon was at a rough patch in his life during production and didn't understand the appeal of the film or the light-hearted comedic elements. (Even once breaking down in public and exclaiming in frustration "I'm in a movie about giant underground worms!") And thus, he chose to have no involvement in the sequels. It wasn't until some years later that he decided to re-visit the film and give it another chance after it became a massive cult-hit, and discovered that he actually really loved it. Bacon has since gone on record saying one of his dream projects would be to reprise his role of Val McKee in a future film.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City picture

Trivia: The scene with Jill eating Wesker's sandwich and saying "It's Jill's sandwich now!" (although saying it quickly in such a way that you can't hear the "s" and it sounds more like "It's Jill sandwich now!") is a reference to an infamous moment in the original video game. In the game, Jill is almost crushed by a booby-trap, and the character Barry says she was "almost a Jill sandwich!" The poor dialogue and terrible delivery by the voice actor ended up making the moment a meme many years later.
