Question: How was Cloud able to survive being shot in the head in the opening chase sequence? Did the bullet just graze his forhead, or did it bounce off of his protective goggles?
Question: What happened to Shane's mom? In one scene we learn that she died because she was sick but what did she have that caused her to die?
Answer: Just like Frank, Shane's mom never ate healthily. Instead, like Frank, she probably just ate whatever she wanted, so she most likely died from a heart attack from eating unhealthy foods or from obesity.
Question: Anastasia basically lost most of her memories from hitting her head, as well as the possible trauma of what happened to her the night her family was killed. Could someone really lose most of their memories that way?
Answer: Amnesia exists, but it is a temporary condition. It does not last for the long-term and people usually regain their memory in a day or two, sometimes up to a week. Extreme cases can last longer, but not in the way it is depicted in movies. Some people may lose memories due to severe brain damage from a traumatic injury, but that is permanent.
Question: This is a two part question: firstly if Crazy Carl was onto Sonic why didn't he find any of Sonic's quills when Tom found one without even looking for one? Secondly: what happened to the ring that Sonic threw and bounced of the robot, did he get it back, or will it play a part in getting Robotnick back in the possible sequel?
Question: I wasn't sure which Disney film to ask about this, as it occurs in many (Alice in Wonderland, Fox and the Hound, Lady and the Tramp etc.) - But in many of the Dinsey films, most of the time many of the characters don't cast a shadow. Is there a reason for this? Or maybe would it be considered a mistake..?
Chosen answer: It is the style of the artwork. Similarly, it is not a mistake that each individual hair is not drawn, the eyes are not really proportional to the head, etc.
Question: What exactly is a Ghost, and in the last line of the movie, what has occurred? Have the two merged into one and become a new entity?
Chosen answer: The Ghost is your spirit. In the end yes, they both merge, making a new entity, not just a human/cyborg and an AI, but a complete new entity - the whole is more than the sum of the parts.
Question: Is Gobber's line about trolls being real ("They steal your socks! But only the left ones.") a reference to Lilo and Stitch? When describing Stitch, Jumba says "He will be irresistibly drawn to large cities, where he will back up sewers, reverse street signs, and steal everyone's left shoe."?
Question: When this came out on DVD, the box said it was uncut and uncensored. So why was all of the swearing censored?
Answer: There are two versions on the disc. From the main menu you can go to a sub menu that allows you to choose which one you watch.
How do I find it? I've been looking and can't see it anywhere.
The only thing it lets me choose is subtitles and different languages.
Have you looked in the Languages menu? It should let you select the uncensored English audio track.
Question: Is there a duplicate line that is spoken by Hiccup or Astrid in How to Train Your Dragon 2 that is also said in the movie Frozen?
Answer: No.
Question: I don't get it, how is it that Stitch's glitch was happening in this movie and didn't happen in the first movie?
Answer: It has to do with his molecules breaking down. In this film, he needs to have his molecules "charged". They had not broken down enough in the first film to cause the glitch.
Question: The character Rock resembles Protoman (aka Blues in Japan) from the videogame Mega Man (Rockman) in appearance. Both wear shades and red clothing (Megaman has blue eyes and black hair and it's assumed that Proto has the same). The original Megaman characters and plot are very similar to Osamu Tezuka's Astroboy. With the character name, the robot themes, jazz/blues music, and the appearance, I was wondering if this was intentional on the animator's part or just coincidental.
Answer: If anything, Mega Man was influenced by Metropolis--Mega Man came around in 1987 and Metropolis first appeared in manga form in 1949.
Question: If the bear died in the fall, assuming the fall did kill it, then how did Tod survive?
Answer: Since we don't really know how he died, he could have drowned and not died on impact. Bear may not have been a strong swimmer or sustained too much injury from the gunshot to swim to the surface. However, in physics, force = mass * acceleration and thus larger creatures will hit the water with greater force than small creatures (as the old cliche goes; the bigger they are, the harder they fall). So it's possible for Bear to die on impact and not Tod because of his larger size.
Question: Since Blue Falcon is an older character... Is Captain Falcon from the F-Zero games based off him? The similarities are great.
Chosen answer: No. Other then the color blue, and falcon in their names, there is nothing indicating Captain Falcon was inspired by Blue Falcon.
Answer: The Blue Falcon was a Saturday morning cartoon series that ran during the late 1970's.
Question: Assuming that the film didn't underperform, would there have been a sequel?
Answer: A sequel is still possible, but PIXAR and Disney say there are no current plans for one. They are open to the possibility but claim to be moving away from a sequel-heavy slate to instead focus on original projects. Although it received good reviews, Onward under-performed at the box office, though that was partially due to the COVID pandemic. A sequel is doubtful, or, if there is one, it could be a straight-to-video DVD.
Question: Why is the word "Lorraine" scratched into the handle of Shaw's gun? The words are easily seen after Boog levels Shaw with a golf club near his gun.
Chosen answer: Shaw named his shotgun "Lorraine". He refers to the gun by the name throughout the movie. It's not an uncommon practice among hunters.
Question: During the opening scene, where it explains the creation of the ring, Sméagol finding and Bilbo taking it, was the entire scene animated or were live actors used before switching to animation?
Answer: The bullet bounced off and thereby did not directly hit him. As Kadaj's gang were after their "mother", you can be sure Yazoo did not intend to kill Cloud yet, so he must have aimed for the goggles. It's impossible for the bullet to graze his forehead in that angle, even though Yazoo could have calculated that, too.
