Continuity mistake: When Mike walks into the kitchen asking Alice if he can give her a hand, Alice removes two pots from the stovetop leaving the left side clear, but in the shots from the dining room when Alice trips, there are two large pots on the left side of the stovetop, near the edge of the counter. Continuity mistake: When Bobby attempts to climb the treehouse for the second time, he climbs to the very top and looks up in fright. From his POV we see he has two more wooden bars to climb, despite being at the top a split second ago.
Continuity mistake: During the goat in the master bedroom scene, the flowers on Carol's side of the bed change during the scene. At first there is a pink flower to the right of a white flower, and then it changes to white flower on right of the pink one. In addition, the whole bouquet looks slightly different in different shots.

Continuity mistake: In the middle of the episode, a boxy gold station wagon is pulling into the Brady driveway, which immediately cuts to a shot of a rounder body style, gold station wagon pulling up to the carport.
Continuity mistake: In a first-season episode, Carol is asked by one of her daughters, "How come you never play golf anymore?" indicating she used to play golf. In the later seasons, an episode came out where Carol was first learning to play golf (appearing as if she's never played before).
Continuity mistake: At home, before leaving for the Grand Canyon, the trailer was much taller than the car, and looked more like a motor home. After that, it becomes a different vehicle more like a trailer, about the same height as the car. When the prosecutor steals the car, it's the tall version, and when they arrive at the Grand Canyon to look at the view, there's nothing attached to the car bumper. When they leave the Grand Canyon it's the shorter version, back to being a trailer.

Continuity mistake: When they are getting ready for the reenactment of the night when Jan lost her locket, Greg is about to eat an apple when the boys walk into their room. When Greg sits down, his apple is mostly finished.

Answer: Much trivia has been written about "The Brady Bunch, " including the various interrelationships and dynamics among the members of the cast. For example, much has been written about why Robert Reed's Mike Brady did not appear in a couple of episodes, including the series finale, due to rancorous creative and artistic differences with series creator, Sherwood Schwartz. However, in contrast, I have never run across any reasons given why a particular child did not appear in specific episodes - only that the episodes were missed. This suggests the causes were likely unexceptional, such as illness, injuries, vacations, or real-life family obligations.

Although those options ARE possible reasons, it just seems a bit ironic that this happened all in Season 2 ONLY and within a short amount of nearly consecutive episodes. Never happened during the other 5 years of the show at all.
