Question: Why did Stryver leave Daggett at Bane's mercy? It's even more puzzling since Daggett even ordered Stryver to stay and guard him.

Question: Would Zep have faced charges for his role in the game? If so, what charges would he be facing exactly?
Answer: If you can show that you were forced to commit the crime under duress, then you may be able to form a defensive strategy. Even if this cannot get you acquitted, you may be able to plea down to lesser charges and receive a lesser sentence. When you are arguing for the duress defense, you must show that: you had a reasonable fear of death or serious harm; you did not have any way to escape the situation; you could not have contacted the police about this; you did not force this situation to occur.
Answer: It's possible he could get off due to the extraordinary circumstances of what transpired. But given his sadistic pleasure in the game, I would assume he might face some charges. Among possible charges: kidnapping, assault, battery, weapons possession, criminal conspiracy, child endangerment, attempted murder, among many others.
As a lawyer, I believe the law is clear that you will not be charged for crimes you were forced to commit under immediate distress - that your life or a loved one's is in imminent danger.
To be clear the danger must be imminent - if John had told Zap to do it or he'd be poisoned next week wouldn't count, for example. But since the poison was already in his bloodstream his threat of death was indeed imminent, thus preventing any charges should he have lived.

Question: Why did Jones fire at the ceiling when Clifton is attacked by the infected Mailer?
Answer: Because he is incompetent and doesn't know how to fire the gun properly. When he tries to shoot Mailer, the recoil takes him by surprise and he stumbles backwards, still squeezing the trigger, spraying wildly upwards.

Question: Why did Mr. Hand rip up Spicoli's card and then send him to the front office? Aside from being late, he didn't really do anything that could be considered "out of line."
Answer: As a teacher myself, you learn to be able to recognize "problem" students fairly quickly (those that are going to be disruptive, late, etc on a regular basis). Mr. Hand is simply overly strict in regards to Spicoli unexcused tardy and seems not to allow students into class late, thus earning the student an absent. Mr. Hand does say he "will make you" attend his class. In addition, Spicoli was high and, in Mr. Hand's mind, disrespectful (Spicoli said "hey I know that kid" while they were talking) so Mr. Hand showed Spicoli disrespect in return as a way to teach him a lesson.

Question: What sort of charges would the male Lust victim be facing, if any?
Answer: Given the circumstances, it is highly unlikely the district attorney would file any charges. But if they really wanted to, they could charge him with murder, since he carried out the act that resulted in the prostitute's death. Even though he was threatened with his own death if he didn't do it, in a court of law, being coerced into committing a murder is not a lawful defense, though it probably would have resulted in a lesser sentence.

Question: Had John Doe not been killed by Mills, what charges would he be facing exactly?
Answer: At the very least, six counts of first degree/premeditated murder (the five sin victims, plus Tracy); six counts of assault and battery; three counts of home invasion; and two counts of kidnapping (Gluttony and Sloth). His lawyer says that he planned to plead insanity, but this could not realistically have been defended, at the very least because (as Somerset points out) his threat to do so would be admissible evidence.
Also, adding to the fact that he's blackmailing them... Given the circumstances that the crimes are related to the "Seven Deadly Sins" and they've only got 5 to that point, that does lend credence to the threat of there still being 2 more victims out there. However, there's countless missing persons. It's not the same as if a specific victim is missing, with a family being left unknowing of their whereabouts.

Question: How did Dave Forbes initially survive being stabbed in the heart by Mike?
Answer: He didn't survive, he was mortally wounded, that means he would be dead anyway even if Mike didn't kill him.
Answer: Perhaps Mike, being skilled as he was in torture and extracting information - as we saw earlier, stabbed Dave to the extreme right, or left of Dave's aortic pump. It just looked like Mike stabbed Dave directly in the heart.

Revealing mistake: During the brief firefight in the mess hall, Distephano is disarmed and drops to the floor. After the firefight, he surrenders and stands up with his hands behind his head. The same shot of him standing up is reused in the security footage Gediman watches from the control room seconds later. (00:39:05)
Suggested correction: There could be a delay of several seconds in the footage, its probably a really outdated security system.

Question: How did the police locate Victor's apartment?
Answer: It's no mystery...it's standard police procedure, and every step is shown in the film. Victor is known to the authorities as a drug dealer, and they match his fingerprints to those found at a murder scene. So they look up his address in their system, and go there.

Question: Did John Doe torture Victor, or did he just leave him tied to his bed?
Answer: Judging by what we see on screen, Doe did not torture Victor, apart from cutting off his hand. It's torture enough to spend an entire year by yourself in an empty apartment, without any stimulation whatsoever, unable to move, and at the mercy of a religious lunatic.

Back to the Future (1985)
Question: When Eric Stoltz was in this film, did he dye his hair black? It looks black in behind the scenes footage.
Chosen answer: Eric Stoltz's hair was actually more red than Michael J. Fox's; but Stoltz's original "Marty" was overall a visually darker character with a 1980s punk-rock or teen-idol look, wearing a full-sleeved black jacket, black pants and black sneakers. His hair was also dyed black for the part. Director Robert Zemeckis decided, after his 5-week ordeal with the dark and humor-challenged Stoltz, that the Marty character needed to be brighter, more colorful, and a lot funnier. So, Marty's appearance was changed to a more casual teen look, with a faded Levi's jacket, sleeveless orange vest, bluejeans and white sneakers. Michael J. Fox's hair was darkened slightly for the role, but it was still a noticeably lighter color than Stoltz's.

The Negotiator (1998)
Question: When Frost attempts suicide, Beck shoots him in the shoulder to disarm him... why? He could have easily killed Frost (or Danny and Chris, who were several feet behind Frost).
Chosen answer: Beck wants Frost to stand trial and suffer for his crimes. Realistically a trained officer would never do this not only for the reasons stated but also because police officers are trained to shoot to kill, not to wound.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
Question: In court, Darby asks Nick if he's married. What's the meaning of this question, and why did he ask it? Seems a bit strange to just randomly ask someone that.
Answer: Because Nick knows this man is guilty. He says it to almost imply, "well since I'm getting off, may as well make a visit to your family next. You married, Nick?"
Answer: The answer that someone else gave to this question is misleading; indicates that Clyde asked Nick if he was married. It was actually Darby who asks Nick this question. And there really is no answer except that Darby is a menace and a scoundrel. He only asked this to aggravate or pull some kind of thread at Nick. Nick knows this, which is why he replies to him the way he does.
Answer: Probably because he was married with a child, and he wanted to know if he was also married, so he could possibly relate to his situation.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
Question: What body parts did Clyde cut from Darby? Clyde only mentioned three or four pieces, but cops on the scene say that Darby was found in about 25 different pieces.
Answer: He took his fingers off with bolt cutters, and his toes with tin snips. His head was on a table, and after dismemberment of his limbs, there's your 25 pieces.

Answer: Either Stryver knew Bane was going to kill Daggett and he didn't want to risk his own life by interfering, or he was simply so intimidated by Bane that he chose to comply with Bane's demand rather than draw his ire.
