Continuity mistake: When the neon carrot sign falls on the hood of the Anti-Pesto van, a big piece of the sign is missing. When the Were-Rabbit bursts through the window of the vegetable shop, the sign now has an even bigger piece missing. (00:32:35)

Wallace is the Were Rabbit. Victor fails to shoot him when at his house, and tries at the vegetable contest. He fails. Wallace falls to his death from Tottington Hall, but is revived with some cheese. Gromit wins the competition because of his marrow. Lady Tottington opens up a new rabbit sanctuary in her grounds, where all the rabbits are released, including Hutch.

Wallace: Oh, grand. We take cheques or cash.
Lord Victor Quartermaine: Toupee, you idiot. My hair is in your machine.
Wallace: Oh, no, it's only rabbits in there. The hare I think you'll find is a much larger mammal.
Trivia: In the scene were Gromit is taking care of his melon he looks at a calendar and the date circled for the festival is September 17, which was also the day the British launched operation Market Garden. It's the perfect date for a vegetable festival.
