Thunderball

Other mistake: During the sequence where Bond flees the baddies during the carnival, it becomes clear that the locals made their own outfits. For a few seconds, we see a group with headpieces that read "007" - so much for "secret" agent. To add a bit of humour to the moment, a dog can be seen urinating against the passing parade.

Other mistake: The tape recorder in Bond's room spins very fast, and the tape is not that big. It would have to have been started not long before Bond came back, and could not possibly have been running all day.

Other mistake: In the final scene, Bond, the girl, and the man who rescued the girl all jump out of the boat before it hits the rocks. Then Bond and the girl are picked up by an airplane in an elaborate rescue scene. But what about the other man? I guess he has to swim home?

Other mistake: When the SEALs attack Largo's men, there is a scene where a SEAL swimming forward is shot with a spear gun. But the man simply doubles over; the harpoon - which should be visible protuding from his front - is not seen.

Other mistake: At the beginning of the film, when Bond and the woman are getting into the Aston Martin, the roof and boot of the car are covered in dust, but the rear window is clean. (00:04:20)

Fiona: You look pale, Mr. Bond. I hope I didn't frighten you.
Bond: Well you see, I've always been a nervous passenger.
Fiona: Some men just don't like to be driven.
Bond: No, some men just don't like to be taken for a ride.

Trivia: If you noticed that almost all of the bad guys, including the villain, are all Italian, this is no coincidence. The original story involved the Mafia and the villain, Emilio Largo, as a Mafia chieftain. The story was changed to replace the Mafia with the organization, SPECTRE.

Question: As I watched the end scene I wondered: how do James and Domino intend to return to terra firma? They were whisked out of the boat by the plane and are hanging on the end of a long cord so the plane can't land without them being dragged at high speed along the concrete.

Answer: Look up Skyhook online and you'll find out how it was done. The person hanging from the cable wold be pulled aboard by the plane's crew.

Answer: A helicopter could lower a line to them to attach themselves to. They could then cut the rope and be lowered to safety. A bit outlandish, but this is Bond we are talking about after all.
