Corrected entry: This is also for the other two. When the doc sends Einstein back in time, you see that it is covered in ice, but in the other time travels there is no ice nor is it the slightest bit cold.
Back to the Future (1985)
1 commented-on entry since 18 Apr '24, 05:00
Directed by: Robert Zemeckis
Starring: Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, Thomas F. Wilson
Continuity mistake: When we first see the machine in action, the travel is shown from three different angles. In the second, a line of fire passes directly between Doc's legs, but in the third angle, they pass to the left of both of his legs. (00:21:00)
Dr. Emmett Brown: Don't worry. As long as you hit that wire with the connecting hook at precisely 88mph the instant the lightning strikes the tower... Everything will be fine.
Question: What does the saying "Why don't you make like a tree, and get out of here", mean?

Correction: The correction is wrong. Doc did not send Einstein back in time. He sent him to the future. Only then the car gets covered in ice, such as seen at the end of the film when Marty returns to 1985.
This is explained in the bonus features. Because having a DeLorean covered in ice was too difficult to deal with during production. So they discontinued it.
