Factual error: In the first scene where Dr Strange is preparing for surgery he uses improper surgical gowning technique breaking aseptic protocols. Strange puts on a mask after washing his hands, contaminating his clean hands by bringing them in proximity to the non-sterile environment of his face. Surgical masks must be worn before the full washing of hands. Another error is that he inserted his hands all the way through his gown to don gloves. Hands must never leave the sleeves and gloves must be put on with the sleeves still covering.
Factual error: A theater marquee is visible promoting the showing of a film called Tribeca Follies. The acronym "Tribeca" - an amalgamation of "Triangle Below Canal [Street]" - didn't come into usage until the 1970s.
Factual error: As the X-Men land in Cairo, scenes reveal the destruction Magneto is wreaking around the world, where it is simultaneously daylight in New York, Sydney and Cairo - it is possible for it to be daylight in two of these locations at once, but not all three. (01:46:00)
Audio problem: In the beginning, you can hear the sounds of the jungle, including the laugh of a kookaburra. The problem is: The film is set in India and kookaburras are only in Australia, not India.
Other mistake: When Alice's ship is being chased, she orders her crew heel to port (turn left). Instead, it turns heel to starboard (right).
Factual error: The license plate of the car that takes the protagonist to the sanitarium is GR 36E46. That's not a valid Swiss plate: GR indicates the canton of Graubünden, but other than that it is supposed to have only digits and no letters.
Continuity mistake: The location of the FireBrand tower keeps changing throughout the film. 1:30 - the tower is in Lower Manhattan, south of the World Trade Center 2:55 - As Kevin Spacey lands, the tower has moved closer to the World Trade Center (side note - the shot immediately before this showed him falling towards midtown Manhattan, not the tower) 3:45 - the tower has moved further north towards midtown 4:50 - the tower appears to have moved back to the position it was in at 1:30. 5:25 - the tower has moved back to it's position at 3:45. 53:25 - We are given a view of the tower from their Central Park penthouse, and it has apparently moved much closer to Central Park (right next to One57 on the other side of Manhattan island) 56:45 - the tower has moved back down to its position at 3:45 and 5:25. 1:17:38 - I'm not entirely sure about this one, but you can briefly make out the two pools of the World Trade Center memorial, which would put the tower at its location at 2:55. 1:18:00 - the tower has moved to the exact location of One World Trade Center (therefore making that building disappear). 1:18:05 - the tower has moved back to its position at 2:55 (now One World Trade is visible).
Continuity mistake: When Batman goes to save Martha, he pulls the wooden box with his gun and throws it at one bad guy. The guy's head hits the wall, leaving blood. Later on, you still can see the dead guy but there is no blood on the wall any more. The blood appears again when Batman is about to finish off the last person who was stabbed and pinned against the wall. (02:17:30 - 02:18:35)
Continuity mistake: At breakfast in the BFG cave the bottle of frobscottle is taken from the table by the big bad giant when he says "I is taking this", only to show up again when Sophie clambers out the shnozcumber.
Continuity mistake: This is after the minotaurs have found Horus and Bek. As Horus is fighting the second to last minotaur, he breaks off both of its horns. In the next shot, only one horn is broken. (00:52:30)
Plot hole: After escaping from execution, the assassins still made use of throwing knives out of their garments as they ran through the city. These would have been removed from them before they were shackled in the cell.
Other mistake: When the children arrive in Blackpool, Emma tells Jake that loop entrances can be anywhere and that "the one in London is in a subway tunnel", but on the map of all the loops they were viewing previously inside the boat, there was no marking of a loop in London.
Visible crew/equipment: In the beginning where Amanda Waller is talking in a restaurant. While the camera focuses on her towards the end of the scene, they move the camera right, facing towards her left side of her face. Watch the wine glass, you'll see the crew moving along with the camera.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the big hall he goes to demonstrate that he can shoot. He shoots 5 arrows. When you see the arrows hit the bowl only three hit. (00:32:00)
Sometimes he shoots 2 at a time. He does shoot 3 times, but he shoots five arrows.
The correction is valid. He never shoots 2 arrows at once. You may need to watch in slow motion if you can't see what happened. He grabs 3 arrows with his right hand and keeps them in his hand as he shoots 1 arrow at a time. This is probably most obvious on the 2nd shot where you see the 2 arrows in the bow, but when he releases his hand, you see one arrow still in his right hand and 1 arrow leaving the bow.
He starts holding all 3 arrows, shoots 1, reloads holding 2, shoots 1, then reloads and shoots the last arrow.
Plot hole: Durotan's clan is the Frostwolf clan, orcs who ride big white wolves. The problem is...they are riding those wolves when they are in the human world, but those huge wolves made to be orc mounts were not with them when they crossed the portal from their homeworld. Unless the human world has the same wolves and they managed to tame them in record time, it's inexplicable.
Suggested correction: Once the portal opens hordes of orcs start running into the portal. Just because you didn't see any wolves among them doesn't mean there weren't any. They obviously brought their wolves with them. They probably entered through last along with some food and tools they might need.
We see the portal close once the sorcerer blows life into the baby and the whole invasion force is on screen. Those few warriors are all that comes through the portal, which makes sense given what he said about having limited energy to transfer only a few people.
No, no. I thought you were going to say that. Look at it again, when the portal closes there are orcs standing all around it, cheering. There are hundreds of them, you saw scores of orcs run into the portal as well. Surely there are wolves amongst them as well.
There is a line of orcs around the portal, yes (still few in the context of the invasion), but there are no wolves there either, no wolves heard howling or anything. I don't know: no wolves shown running into the portail, no wolves shown exiting the portal, no wolves standing amongst those around the portal, nor heard, not even with the chieftan of the tribe that rides them. I find it easier to think that they just made them up on the spot in pure "fridge logic" to homage the game (they are not seen in the movie much nor they have a really important role) rather than postulating that perhaps there's a wolf herder guy who brought along a few dozens wolves that happen to be hidden now amongst the trees.
It may be easier to believe that, but doesn't make it impossible. Just because you didn't see them doesn't mean they weren't there. It's plausible, therefore no error and certainly not a plot hole, certainly not since you agree they don't have an important role.
I don't find it plausible since there isn't the faintest hint of it shown in the movie in a scenario where we are supposed to see all their forces: if it did not make such a point of that, I am sure I could agree with you. It's not a matter of filling in blanks left by the movie, it's about contradicting what was on screen. It's easily (or logically, if you will: I use the word 'easily' in an Occam's razor sort of way) explained (and not justified) by the wolves being 'fanservice' homage in a couple scenes, which made them easy to overlook (because they forgot or because they did not care, we can't know that) when it came to planning the invasion scenes. I believe it fits the definition of 'plot hole' because however unimportant and cosmetic of an element it is, giving a character or a group of characters something that was not there before 'breaks' the movie world as represented. I am however fine with any other category, I wouldn't split hairs on that and I welcome your different opinion. :-).
Continuity mistake: The sun angle changes several times during the chase sequence when the dragon is on the flatbed truck.
